Over two decades of sharing the music and her life with country fans, Karen is the latest inductee to be included in the Hall. Graduating from broadcast school in 1982, she headed to Ypsilanti for her first radio job at “Suds Country” WSDS. In 1992, Karen was hired at WYCD in her hometown of Detroit where she would co-host mornings until the legendary WWWW offered her afternoon drive. After 15 successful years on Detroit airwaves, Karen accepted the morning show host position at another heritage country station, WMIL. That was 1998 and she’s now a “fixture” in the city. SCOTT 29 Years in Country Radio 2001 CMA Personality of the Year Scott is the morning show “old-timer” having spent 20 years at WMIL. Growing up he got hooked on country music listening to his brother’s honky tonk collections. In the 24 years since then, Scott spent time at KTOM Monterey and WYZM Madison before he wound up in Milwaukee at WMIL in 1994…the place he would call “home”.
