Interschool Athletics
Congratulations to all students who participated in
the Athletics carnival held last Wednesday. Well
done to Yellow House who finished in second place
behind St Joseph’s. Given the very wet lead up to
this day, which limited the practice we could do, it
was great to see all students giving every event a
red, hot go! Especially the Grade 3 students who
participated for the first time in this event. Well
done!
A big THANK YOU goes to all staff who helped on the
day. Also, to Therese Townsend, Shelley Johnston
and Jo Cooper who volunteered their time all day.
Without help these events are very difficult to run.
Michael - Chook Wrangler
The students love to see their parents/carers involved in these special days. We also had assistance from FCJ students who worked very well all Vacation Care
day.
Some students aged 10 years and older have
qualified to compete at the Ovens & Mitta Division Athletics carnival in Wangaratta on Thursday
19th September. A note will be sent home with
those students.
Thank You,
