Early Users’ Feedback – winter 2013
Introduction
The survey is part of the “Early users’ feedback” task, in the Phase II “Idea refinement” of the
Trento Use Case 3 - Scenario3 Activity Plan. It composes the 1st phase of users’ involvement being
the first check on the early service idea created by the Pilot Facilitator (CREATE-NET) with the
cooperation of the Project Key Partner (INTERPLAY SOFTWARE) and the Local Key Stakeholder
(Comune di Trento).
The aim of the survey is to check with users the interest in the service idea and receive suggestions
for its improvement. The objective is to modify the system by leveraging on the survey results before
the piloting phase.
The survey adopted the Survey Planet web service (www.surveyplanet.com) with a questionnaire
opened the 12-13/12/2013. CREATE-NET managed the interviews on connected Tablets to tourists in
the Trento city center during the 12 and 13th of December 2013. 56 tourists participated randomly.

Actions check-list
General infos. The participants’ group is small (56 units) with little predominance of Males
(57%) and Italians (50/56). For the 52% of participants it was the first visit in Trento.
Websites. The 17% of participants used the Web to organize the visit in Trento, in this group
the 8 do not remember the website, 2 used VisitTrentino website (operated by Trentino Marketing),
2 used the Eurospin Viaggi website, 1 used Booking.com as well as B&B Italia and the Christmas
Market page on the Trento City website.
The interest in the Scenario2 tourists’ web service (Questions 6) can be considered of users’
interest since the average evaluation is 3.7 on an evaluation range that goes from 1(min) to 5(max).
This means that the Scenario2 service should be implemented.
Only the 32% (18/56) of participants would participate to further activities for service
improvement and evaluation (Questions 8).
Therefore the actions check-list is focused on the open users’ suggestions (Question 7).
The following table summarizes the items suggested by users with an action-check to be
considered by Interplay Software (with the possible cooperation of Comune di Trento, the Use Case
3 “Local Key-Stakeholder”) for the service improvement and further project documentation (WP6
and WP2).
