Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work used to relax, replenish, and heal the body. Energy is everywhere. Its pulsating within our planet. All living things tend to match the rhythm of Earth to grow. So does and human’s heart. To move forward then we need vibrations of higher frequency. But people often slow down themselves by choosing negative thoughts and actions, which forms blockages in their energetic system…,which creates a disease. When you have the painful symptoms or a discomfort in your body, the first thing – go to the doctor. Reiki healing energy able to support, to compliment, to ease recovery. September 2015- Page 3 THE VAIL VOICE Food, Fun, and Fellowship at the Annual Picnic More than 40 Hopkins members were in attendance at the annual picnic at French National Park. Desi H and Stella C play a fun-filled game of beanbag toss. PUPPY, KITTY, AND CRITTER PLAYTIME AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY Members and staff went on a guided tour at the Golden Valley Animal Humane Society. Much was learned about the organization, and many animals were cuddled during the visit. Hopkins Adds TE Positions By Lynda Y. Recently Hopkins Clubhouse has acquired another Transitional Employer (TE) in Minneapolis. Kowalski’s Market in the Uptown area of Minneapolis has chosen to be a new TE site for the Hopkins Clubhouse. They are offering two courtesy positions for our members to fill and one is already fille.! The Minneapolis Clubhouse has been working with other Kowalski locations as T.E. sites and as they have enough sites and positions to date, have graciously given the contact information to Hopkins and we were able to meet with the assistant Manger, Kyle Riley, and set up the positions. Now with the two TE positions at St. Therese, through (Aviand’s Food Service) and the two at Kowalski’s in Minneapolis, Hopkins has four TE position for our members to gain practical experience and pay check.
