That is right the Ripon Chamber of Commerce
along with Ripon Main Street are moving our
offices to 114 Scott St. The new location is
located near downtown Ripon, a main highway,
and a short walk away from the Little White
Schoolhouse. Both the Chamber and Main Street
will continue to utilize the building for the
foreseeable future but will also continue to look
for larger and more visible locations. Come see
us soon!

Thank you to all who attended and participated in the Ripon
Chamber of Commerce Golf Outing at Mascoutin on Wednesday
August 21st. The event was originally planned in June but weather
forced us to reschedule. The weather in August was a tad warm but
overall a great day was had. A big thank you goes out to our golfers,
sponsors, and staff for a job well done. We look forward to another
great event next June…weather permitting!
Ripon Pick ‘N Save’s Jeremy Schouten shows phenomenal form
as he tees off. Congratulations to Jeremiah Grothe’s team from
Prairie Place on winning the event in a tie breaker.

Congratulations to Linda Rugerri who is the new Executive
Director of the Green Lake Country Visitors Bureau. Linda
is working closely with all five members of the Bureau and
brings energy and new ideas to carry the GLCVB into the
future. We certainly appreciate her work.

Clownbike Advertising is coming to Ripon to provide
free consultations with downtown businesses. Richard
Carraro, the owner of Clownbike, has created some
pretty impressive advertising campaigns including the
Cookie Man commercials for Snackwell (Nabisco). He got
burnt out doing the New York marketing thing and now
works with Mom & Pops businesses. Richard will be in
Ripon on Wednesday, Sept. 11th, and Ripon Main Street
hosts his community presentation which begins at 9 am.
In addition, Richard has also agreed to meet with local
businesses to help them with their print advertising.
Businesses can sign up for any one of ten 30-minute
consultation spots that are available starting at 11 am.
All consultees must bring a business card, hard copies of
print ads, photographs of their business (interior and
exterior) to their 30 minute session. Please call the
Ripon Main Street office if you have questions.

and social media advertising. The seminar runs from


Women’s Expo: The Daily Citizen & Capital Times will be
hosting the 2013 Dodge County Women's Expo coming up on

Thank you to Brian Reilly, Robert Klemm, Linda Boutwell,
and Barb Becker for doing another fantastic job as docents
at the Little White Schoolhouse. These people ensure that
visitors are greeted with a smiling face and knowledge
about our national landmark.
Thank you to the donors of the new flag pole and flag at
the Little White Schoolhouse. It is an awesome addition to
the property.
