As you read this you will have just completed parent/teacher conferences or will be getting ready to meet with your child’s teacher. These conferences mark the halfway point in the trimester. I have been very happy with the overall effort from our students, I hope that trend continues for the rest of the semester and year. After our fall break, our schedule starts to get really busy. Our 8th graders will be visited by all of the Catholic High Schools; picture re-takes on the 18th; several field trips, and some dress down days. All of this on top of your own very busy personal schedules. Being busy also means the time will go by quickly. Be sure your child is staying on top of homework and getting enough rest/nutrition, because the change in weather also means sniffles/sickness. If you are traveling for this long weekend, please be safe, America does not have a fall break, so extra traffic at this time is not what most daily commuters are expecting. I hope to see everyone at conferences and back in school on the 11th.
