In Frederikssund Municipality we like to see visions become reality.
Therefore we started Denmark’s largest urban development project – Vinge.
Vinge is our bid on the 21.century’s smartest and sustainable city, which will be
integrated in the surrounding nature and at the same time add itself naturally
to our existing and well-functioning urban environments and rich nature. We
are building Vinge together with ground-breaking architects and skilled local
craftsmen.
Frederikssund Municipality is already home to several large multinational and
highly specialized Danish companies particularly in the areas of clean tech - and
the food industry. Our workforce matches the real requirements, and in the city
council, we are very busy with the business of creating the best frameworks for
