C
onnie Charles, founder and CEO of Strategic Solutions International Inc.
(SSI), has specialized in helping organizations meet their objectives
through improvement of the way they motivate, manage, and educate their
people. She has overseen the domestic and international growth of SSI, which
has a client base that has included large companies like Aramark, PNC Bank,
DuPont, Lockheed Martin, Visa, and Coca-Cola.
In 1993, Connie developed a unique approach to helping business people
improve their performance by using the golf course as a classroom. For more than 20 years since,
Connie has specialized in creating learning and development processes that integrate the insights
from behavioral data into educational or coaching processes. She has worked with top executives
on strategies for improving both their own personal performance and the success of the teams
they lead. The continuous focus on bottom-line impact has ensured high value for her insights
and expertise.
Well-known for her speaking and facilitation skills, she has been invited to lead seminars for
boards, conferences, and executive teams on various topics. Connie has spoken to audiences all
over the world and her recent book, The Magic of the Method, has become a valued tool for
many coaches and executives looking to achieve more personally and professionally.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Diane Gilman, Fashion Personality from Home Shopping Network
D
iane Gilman started her first fashion store as a freshman in college in
Los Angles and soon became a popular destination among Hollywood
Starlets. Diane designs her exclusive and wildly popular collections as a
blend of modern fashion and classic comfort in life style dressing.
In the mid 60's to mid 70's, she designed clothing for some of the top
Rock and Roll stars-The Jefferson Airplane, Jimmy Hendrix, Janis Joplin,
Jerry Garcia of the Grateful Dead, and Cher. She moved to New York City, in the early 80's,
and was "discovered" by Bloomingdales for her individualistic and original collections.
At one point, in a one week period, Diane had every window of every major New York
department store.
She is also credited with being the first designer to introduce washable silk to North
America, which brought her recognition and millions of fans. But nothing could compare to
the broad recognition she has realized through being one of the foundational Pioneers for
Tele-retailing Fashion!

Diane owes all her current success to a pair of jeans that caused a revolution in Teleretailing. Diane is almost in her 19th year on The Home Shopping Network USA and she is
the longest running fashion personality at the network. She is currently the number one fashion vendor, the number 2 vendor amongst all categories selling well over 2 million jeans a
year in the USA alone. She also shares the same number one status at The Shopping Channel
in Canada, and QVC UK. QVC Milan began in April 2013 and she will soon be launching
on QVC France and QVC Spain. Diane’s first book, "Good Jeans," debuted March 2013.
