C H A M B E R L I N K September 2013 Rocky’s Takes Home Top Award at Taste of Blount Twenty Blount County restaurants, bakeries and stores offered more than 75 samples of their dishes and drinks at the 12th annual Taste of Blount at Maryville’s Theater in the Park. Presented by the Blount Partnership and city of Maryville, the event drew nearly 400 visitors. The Royal Hounds played music as patrons ate, drank and socialized during the pleasant evening. They also voted for their favorite dishes. Rocky’s Jamaica Sunrise won Best Overall with jerk chicken, jerk pork, baked beans, red beans and rice, and baked mac and cheese.
