THEN: Wear something comfortable (leotard
or T-shirt and shorts, bare feet, no jewelry,
covered torso, long hair up). Show up for your
first class ready to learn, work, and have FUN!
Summer Sessions 2016—
4 Week Sessions—Summer classes meet 8 times per session,
twice a week for 4 weeks (Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday)
Parent Tots meet once a week for 8 weeks.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
PARENT-TOT GYMNASTICS (1 1/2 - 3 1/2 years)
CLASS NUMBER
Children attend this class along with a parent or care giver for
fun and parent/child bonding. Quality time for both is the key.
Class time is a good opportunity to develop physical awareness, work on coordination, balance, listening skills with music
and movement exploration.

This class is designed for the 3 and 4 year old (both boys and
girls), who are just beginning gymnastics. The child will be working
on tumbling, trampoline, balance beam and bar skills to further
develop fine and gross motor skills. Movement and music are used
with stations and small circuits making learning gymnastics fun. We
will also emphasize pre-reading and pre-Kindergarten skills.
SUPER TOTS (4 years)
This class is designed for the 4 year old (both boys and girls). As
basic skills are mastered, we can work on more complex progressions
and combinations. Learning these skills fosters greater self-esteem.
Having healthy learning attitudes is key during their formative preschool years. We will also emphasize pre-reading and preKindergarten skills.
KINDERGYM (5 - 6 years)
In Kindergym, skills and gymnastics progressions will be
taught in all events for beginner through advanced students.
Gymnasts are divided according to skill levels.
GYMNASTICS 1 (6 - 12 years)
G1 classes are offered to children who are new to
American Gold’s program or have not yet passed the Handstand Forward Roll level of tumbling skills.
GYMNASTICS 2 (6 - 12 years)
G2 classes specialize in intermediate skills
in all areas. Gymnasts must have passed
the Handstand Forward Roll level of tumbling skills.
GYMNASTICS 3 (6 - 15 years)
G3 classes will focus on Flip Flop Skills.
Gymnasts must have passed the Running Round Off level of tumbling.
Power gym is an advanced class that will train you to be a
better tumbler and all around gymnast. Must have passed all G3 levels.
A class for the older beginner. Gymnasts just getting started who
would feel more comfortable with kids their own age.
For boys who would prefer to work with boys only.
Summer classes meet twice a week. Parent Tots meet once a week.

TUMBLING AND MORE (6-18 years)
For gymnasts who prefer to focus on tumbling and work on
floor skills and flexibility. Starter class tries cartwheels, round offs,
Handstands, etc. Advanced class must have passed round off.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE INFORMATION
Each AGG member is required to pay an annual membership fee of $15.00. This fee may be added to the class cost and paid with your registration.
The policies of American Gold require the insurance information on the registration form be accurately completed prior to participation in our classes.
