Club of Virginia to benefit the restoration of
historic Virginia gardens.

Tour Highlights
1 This is the 80th Anniversary of the Garden Club of Virginia’s Historic Garden Week
Home and Garden Tour.

1 Funds raised during Historic Garden Week are used toward the restoration of historic
gardens and grounds across the Commonwealth of Virginia.
1 Tour home, Joseph Janney House was named as one of Top Ten Historic Homes for 2012
by the Washington Post.
1 The newly restored Waterford Old School serves as tour headquarters.
1 Number seven on tour, the Wauchope House has never before been open to the public.
1 Except for a short drive to the Wauchope House, this is a walking tour through the village of
Waterford, VA. Map will be provided. Wear comfortable walking shoes.
1 Floral arrangements in tour homes are created by members of the Leesburg Garden Club,
Fauquier and Loudoun Garden Club and other local garden clubs.
1 Box lunches are available by reservation by April 17, 2013. Contact Suzanne Worsham at

1Admission $20 single home; tour all six properties $30 in advance or $35 on the day of
tour; ages 6–12 are half price; 5 and younger are free. See www.leesburggardenclub.org for

Jefferson, James and Dolley
Madison, Patrick Henry, George
Mason, Robert E. Lee and
Woodrow Wilson.
