The owners of these dogs are authorised to claim in advertisements that the dogs have been examined under the rules of these schemes and have obtained the scores printed below. Members wishing the results of x‑rays to be published in the NZ Kennel Gazette should forward a copy to NZKC with a written request for publication. No fee is payable. Notes (Hips): (1) The first figure is the score for the right hip, the second for the left hip and the third is the total score. (2) The lower the score the less degree of Hip Dysplasia. (3) A total score of 4 or less with not more than 3 on one hip may be regarded as the equivalent to the former Certificate A. (4) Total score of 8 or less with not more than 6 on one hip may be regarded as the equivalent of the former ‘Breeders Letter’ category. (5) Total score maximum possible - 106. Notes (Elbows): Grading (Dogs must be over one year old) (1) A grade is given on the amount of arthritis detected in each joint. Arthritis indicates Elbow Dysplasia is present. (2) Grades range from 0 (free of arthritis) to 3 (severe arthritis) B means borderline between 0-1 (3) Dogs between 1 and 2 years with a 0 score in each elbow are probably free from Elbow Dysplasia. Dogs over two years with a 0 score in each elbow are considered ACCREDITED free from Elbow Dysplasia. Catalogues: Full catalogue $8 paid with entries Same great catering all day Saturday and Sunday Judges Resumés CHRIS GRAHAM I first started showing dogs in 1978 when I got my first English Setter. I have bred only a few dogs (under my Kennel Name of Windsor Park) but with some success, having an “In Show” winning home bred bitch in New Zealand and also exporting to Australia. I became involved in club management in 1978 when I went onto the committees of the English Setter Club and the Southern Gundog Society. I spent 10 years as the Secretary/Treasurer of the English Setter Club and went on to be Vice President and then President of the Southern Gundog Society. I also was on the committee of the Canterbury Branch of the Judges Association for several years. I first became involved in judging dogs in 1983 when I judged my first Ribbon Parade. I gained my Gundog Group licence in 1987 and am now an All Breeds judge at Championship level. I have judged throughout NZ, including my first BIS for AKC at Easter 2010, and have also judged Groups 1, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Australia (Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and West Australia). I enjoy being a part of the Dog World and having contact with the people and their dogs. ANNE RAYMOND Anne was granted her Gundog Championship Show License in 1987. She has judged the Gundog and other Groups in all States of Australia and both the North and South Island of New Zealand. In 2000 Anne was honoured to judge the entire entry of the German Shorthaired Pointer Club in the United Kingdom and the following weekend judged all entries less than 18 months of age in France at the breed Championship Show in Dijon. In 2008 she had a return visit to the UK with an appointment to judge German Shorthaired Pointers and Hungarian Vizslas at the Gundog Club Of Scotland Show, and the working (Utility) group and Best In Show at Open Show level. Anne has since continued to study and obtain licenses for the Toy, Terrier, Hound and Utility (Working) Groups at Championship Show level. She has travelled to Europe, UK and USA to see the best dogs the world has to offer, always on a learning curve, enjoying meeting dogs and their people along the way. PAULINE BRENNAN-LIM Since the age of 6, when my mother bred the first litter of Shetland Sheepdogs in South Australia, I have never been without a Sheltie. I also have Miniature Schnauzers. Besides exhibiting Shelties and Mini schnauzers I have also handled Rough Coat Collies and Clumber Spaniels to Australian Championship Titles and many other breeds to C.C. and Best in Group wins, including Chihuahua, Pomeranian and Long Coat Dachshund. In 1980,I began judging with the Herding group breeds and have since become licensed to judge Toys and Hounds. I am a Founding and Life Member of the Shetland Sheepdog Club of South Australia, having served terms as President, Secretary and Treasurer, totaling more than 22 years. I have also been awarded Life Membership of the Colomeke Kennel Club, one of South Australia’s most prestigious All Breeds Clubs. In September 2001, I was elected Secretary of the National Shetland Sheepdog Council of Australia. I am currently involved in the Judge’s training scheme as an Examiner of Herding, Toy and Hound group trainees. ARAMIS LIM (JOEY) I was born into the world of Dogs, as my parents were both all breed judges and breeders of German Shepherds, Boxers, Great Danes, Min Pins and Dachshunds. I regularly judge around all States and Territories of Australia. I have judged at FCI International Shows in Asia, Europe and at the Stockholm International show in Sweden. Part of this assignment is the prestigious, Contest of Champions. I also judged the first ever Battle of the Champions in the Philippines. Some of the memorable shows I have been fortunate to judge are the FCI World Dog Show 2009 in Bratislava, Slovakia, FCI’s biggest show on record, the FCI European Winners show in Zagreb, Croatia, the Dracula Show in Transylvania, Romania , the Purina National in Toronto, Canada and Asia’s biggest show the Tokyo FCI International Show in Tokyo, Japan. My current involvement in the dog fancy in South Australia is as an ANKC Examiner on the Judge’s Training Scheme and as a committee member on the All Breeds Dog Club of South Australia, Colomeke All Breeds Kennel Club of South Australia and the South Australian Canine Association’s “Pedigree Autumn International Show”.
