at its offices in Washington, D~C., on the 25th day of Y4rch,

The Commission having under consideration the above-captioned
and
de~cribed
ap~lication;
IT APPEARING, That, except for the prOV1S1ons of Section 1.597
of the Commission's Rules, no questions exist as to the qualifications
of the above-named parties; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING, That, the assignor was granted initial
operating authority on December 12, 1962, for Station KRAB(FM), and
filed the above-described assi.gnment of construction permit application
on January 4, 1963; and
IT FURTHER APPEARING, That, the above-described assignment
accordingly comes within the purview of Section 1.597 of
the Commission's Rules, since the assignor has held the authorization
for Station KRAB(Fl"i) less than three years; and
a~plication
IT FURTHER APPEARING, That, (a) Station KRAB(FH) was licensed
on February 14, 1963; (b) the station is now and will continue to be a
non-commercial operation; (c) that the aSSignor will receive no profit
from the assignment; (d) the aSSignor will continue as the chief operating
executive of the station through his pOSition in the assignee; (e) there
will be no disruption in the continuity of the management and programming
of the station;
<f> there is no element of trafficking present, and;

IT FURTHER APPEARING, That, in view of the foregoing, a
'o1aiver of Section 1.597 of the Commission's Rules is warranted,
and the public interest would be served by said waiver and a grant
of the above-described application;
IT IS ORDERED, That, Section 1.597 of the Commission's Rules
1s waived with respect to Station KRAB(FM). Seattle, Washington, and
that the above-described application IS GRANTED.
