Huetter Mill & Cabinet, INC. continues a tradition of quality, craftsmanship, and service that began in 1948. The
company offers wholesale and retail millwork and stair parts, for commercial, remodel, and new home construction,
at a reasonable price, serviced efficiently and fairly be competent, motivated, and properly trained employees.
Huetter Mill & Cabinet had a humble beginning. Its founder Alfred Huetter, a young German immigrant found his
way to Utah with his family at age 15. His first experience was at Salt Lake Mill. As he developed his skills in fine
craftsmanship he made other millwork and furniture projects and started his own business in his back yard making
window sashes.
From Alfred Huetter’s early efforts of the 1930’s and 40’s the company has grown to it’s current facility at 4730
South 500 West in Murray, with a spacious showroom and warehouse.
At its Murray location, Huetter Mill and Cabinet has on hand over $1.2 million worth of inventory. The company
stocks standard moldings in oak, maple, poplar, knotty alder, and cherry and fine handcrafted
finish products for any project. You can choose from crown
molding, casing, baseboards, chair rail, panel molding, and plant
on moldings.
To complement its line of molding and millwork products,
Huetter Mill has developed and stocks a complete line of stair
parts and stairway systems, including box newels and metal
baluster. They are supported by a sales of stairway professionals.
Huetter Mill produces and installs some of the finest curved,
custom stairways and stair parts in Utah.
