September Chamber Network Luncheon
David Womack,
Senior Vice President and Area Manager
Kaiser Permanente Kern County
Please join the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce at our September Chamber
Network Luncheon, Tuesday, September 20, 2016, 12:00 p.m. at our new location, Big
Papa's Steakhouse & Saloon, 1001 W Tehachapi Blvd, C200. Our guest speaker
will be David Womack, Senior Vice President and Area Manager for Kaiser Permanente
in Kern County.
"Beyond Obamacare"
Two very different presidential candidates are advocating for conflicting visions of
the future of healthcare. Some major insurers are pulling out of the health insurance
exchanges. Half of Americans don't like the Affordable Care Act and half do.
Will the ACA survive? David Womack will tell us what he sees in his crystal ball.
David Womack is the Senior Vice President, Area Manager for Kaiser Permanente in
Kern County. His mission is to provide high-quality, affordable healthcare services to
100,000 KP members that reside in Kern County.
Prior to joining KP in 2011, he was the CEO of Whitman Hospital in Colfax WA.
Previously, he was the COO of Greenville Regional Hospital in Greenville IL.
David is a retired Colonel in the United States Air Force Medical Service Corps. He
holds a Master's Degree in Strategy & Leadership from the Air Force War College, a
Master's of Health Administration from Baylor University and a BS with double majors
in Communications and Business Administration from Oral Roberts University.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. David is active
in the community and currently serves as the Vice Chairman of the Kern Economic
