resume Marie-Élaine Racine Lawyer marie-elaine.racine@jolicoeurlacasse.com _ Qualifications Having obtained her Law degree from Université Laval in 1989, Ms. Marie-Élaine Racine was called to the Québec Bar in 1990. She joined our Quebec City firm in 2007 after practising for several years in the Quebec City and Montreal regions. Skills Commercial litigation and business financing dominate her practice. She has also developed an expertise in matters of business restructuring, notably as pertains to bankruptcy and insolvency. She is therefore called upon to represent a varied clientele ranging from small and medium businesses to financial and multinational institutions, in English as well as in French, before all judicial instances in Quebec. Involvements Ms. Racine has written several articles and gave several conferences on different aspects of law pertaining to her fields of activity, and has taught guarantee law, civil procedure and pleading at the Québec Bar School. Ms. Racine’s involvement in her professional environment and in the community resulted in her being named, in the winter of 2003, as one of the 150 young up and coming entrepreneurs in the Quebec City and Chaudière-Appalaches regions.
