Members Helping Members Spotlight Racine All-Stars is a traveling basketball team made up of 5th and 6th grade girls from Racine and Kenosha. They are headed by Coach Tim. He has been coaching boys and girls for five years. Refer a Member and Get Gassed! For a limited time we will be holding a drawing for a $50.00 Coach Tim’s purpose for coaching is to better their basketball knowledge and skills, teach teamwork and improve self esteem. When you are in a hurry, just swipe your card and it will come out of your account automatically. Even with this convenience, as a precautionary measure, we would like to discourage you from using your debit card for certain types of transactions. When joining one of the fitness centers or when ordering things online, or using a Paypal account, you may want to consider other alternatives for more protection. • Tax documents - after 7 years Any of these types of transactions may be processed through ACH by giving them our routing number, 275981420, and your account number with 00 after your account number for savings and 09 for checking. Another method of payment could be our RMECU Visa Credit Card. You can pick up an application by stopping in the CU. Any one of our staff will be happy to assist you with filling one out. You may use this handy little time frame: •S tatements (monthly, quarterly, credit card) 5-7 years • Receipts - 1 year • Paid loan documents - Car - until vehicle is sold - Mortgage - 7 years - Signature - 2 years If you do not want your receipt or statement when we give it to you here at the credit union, please don’t throw it away in the trash in the lobby or rip it up and leave it in your car. Bring your children in to make a deposit and their name will be entered into a drawing for a prize. Now is the best time to open an account. Help us transform our youth into Super Savers. Younger than age 5 • Introduce the concept of money by giving your children change to spend occasionally when you go to the store. Limit their options to save time and avoid conflict. Ages 5 to 10 •L et your children save for something they really want. Rewards reinforce your child’s savings habits, so connect savings to spending. Ages 11 to 14 • Take your children on shopping trips to teach them what things cost. •E ncourage jobs for extra money, such as babysitting, yard work, or pet care.
