WINTER WONDERLAND
Sometimes people struggle with the holidays. While I love Christmas, I do struggle with the shorter days
and dreary weather. To help me get through winter, I get out in nature as much as I can. Photography
helps me to do that. Here are some pictures of the outdoors from being out and about. The buildings are
old buildings at Broughton Hospital. A few are from winters past. What do you do to take care of yourself
during this season?

Road Trip Ideas
2016 Ride Coordinator - Paul Kennedy
2016 is approaching fast and I would like to get some ideas of where the members would
like to visit in the coming year. I have started a travel book with some ideas of places I
thought everyone might enjoy. I would appreciate any ideas of travel destinations. My
personal goal is to schedule at least one group ride per quarter. I am hoping everyone will
attend at least one of these rides no matter the mode of transportation.
AND - Who knows where we could have a chapter picnic?
Here is an idea for the group to ponder: (taken from their website)
NANCY’S CANDY COMPANY
Using the finest chocolate, fresh cream and butter and a little extra patience, I developed
my original recipe for creamy fudge, decadent truffles, home-style chocolates and lots
more. Folks say our candy is the best they’ve ever had. Come visit us you’ve never seen
so many luscious chocolates, mouth- watering fudges, artisan truffles and handmade
candies. And at factory prices!

FUN PAGE
Lauren was frustrated. She had complained dozens of times to her daughter about her newest gag of kissing the
bathroom mirror immediately after applying lipstick, but it was all to no avail. Finally, one day after spending a half
hour scrubbing the mirror, only to find another kiss mark an hour later, Lauren had enough. “Lizzy!” she hollered,
“What?” came her daughter’s reply through her bedroom door. I can’t find the toilet brush that I’ve been using to
clean the bathroom mirror. Do you have any idea where it is?”
