My experience was extremely rewarding. In addition to sharpening my communication and leadership skills, working actively in conserving the mangroves, and maturing professionally, I thoroughly enjoyed working with such a great Photo taken with Prof Datin Seri Panglima Dr. Ann Anton, Chairman of Conservation & Science of SWCS team of people. It was a pleasure to watch and learn from my fellow colleagues. Our monthly programs were very helpful and shaped me to independently assist students during mangrove experience program and environmental voluntary work. The research I conducted for my mini project on the assessment of phytoplankton in Kota Kinabalu Wetlands was quite interesting. I hope the report has provided the KK Wetlands with some solid and useful data for water monitor- In the middle of presenting final report. Noranija Binti Saggap, intern from UMS finally had completed her 12 weeks of industrial training in KKW on 25 April 2015. She wrote a letter to KKW staff to express her gratitude and shares her experiences. On behalf of SWCS, thank you for helping out at KK Wetlands and all the best in your future undertaking! in the future. Here in KK Wetlands I learnt new things; birding, mangrove replanting and how to communicate for conserving the nature in different style for different audience. Training under non-government organization (NGO) also taught me to utilize limited resources optimally to produce better results. I will never forget KK Wetlands. Thank you for teaching me the most valuable skills and knowledge during my entire training session. Sincerely, Noranija.
