from the CEO - Cinfed Credit Union
Membership Newsletter January 2011 Volume 33 No. 1 A Message to Members from the CEO 2010 was certainly a busy, exciting year! We continued to grow, and remain a strong, financially sound credit union. Our asset size, of almost 300 million, is at an all time high. Amid that growth, we underwent a major computer conversion. Converting to a new core processing system entailed a tremendous amount of work by all of our employees to ensure that our member data was kept secure and accurate throughout the process. This conversion included not only a new system by which we transact our day-to-day business, but a new online banking and Cinfed Connection for our members as well. Overall, the conversion was a success. It was not, however, without several challenges. For the past several weeks, it may have been difficult for some of our members to reach a Cinfed representative by phone. This was due to an unusually high call volume. By this time much of that volume has been abated, as we have returned to a more normal routine. We continue to strive with determination to provide the same high level of member service that we offered in the past. Some of you may have had problems arise with automatic transfers, online banking, and Cinfed Connection. You can know with confidence that our staff has been working diligently to resolve each situation that was of concern to you personally. I would like to thank each of you for your patience, understanding and loyal support during this past year. I look forward to working with you as the new year dawns. I have said it before and I will say it again, Cinfed has great members! Sincerely, Christine J. Kunnen Now accepting applications for 14 scholarship awards Fourteen $1,000 Louis M. A new look to serve you better Get acquainted with your new statement Brian Bushman receives top honor Congratulations to Brian Bushman! Brian has once again been named one of the Five Star Top Wealth Managers by Cincinnati Magazine. Brian received this prestigious honor in 2009 and again in 2010. The magazine partnered with Crescendo Business Services, an independent research firm, to determine which wealth managers successfully met key client satisfaction criteria and overall ranked the highest in client satisfaction. Over 42,500 surveys of residents in the Cincinnati area were completed by phone and mail. An additional 5,000 surveys were sent to financial services industry professionals. The wealth managers were evaluated on nine criteria: customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, post-sale service, quality of recommendations, and overall satisfaction.
