Robert C. Peled, Marcellous L. Jones, Stephan Espic, Carolyn Egan, Xaviera Beverley, Alessia Vignali, Elaine Greenshields, Marina Tkachenko, Natella Agarevskaya, Aleksandra Olenska, Moguib Ahmed Said Roshdy, Maria-Ecaterina Popa, İulian Veghesh, Amel Salhi, Firas M.A.Jebreel, Meredith Aylor Damouni, Jamal Alshikh Adam; changed the exhibition area into “The Fashion Centre”. Müge Ersin, Gamze Saraçoğlu, Mehtap Elaidi, Nejla Güvenç, Simay Bülbül, Deniz Kaprol, Ceren Ertan, Ferya Sürel, Ebru Günay, Zeynep Mursalıoğlu, Giray Sepin ve Yasemin Aytar were the Turkish designers who showed up in the “Trend Area” during the exhibition. The opening catwalk was created by Şafak Atahan. Ece Sükan, Yüksel Ak and Tülin Şahin walked in this theatrical catwalk show which emphasized social pollution and lost values, garnered much interest. Designed by Cemil İpekçi, a collection based on the theme “The World’s Forgotten Realities” featured models from India, Europe, Mexico, Japan and Turkey. It shone the spotlight on the principal problems existing on the African continent, such as health, habitation and hunger. Fashion shows put on by member firms of the Ankara Clothing Industrialists’ Association included; Çözgü, Sementa, Setrms, Secil, Livaa, Seden and Matex received a lot of attention. Moreover, the fashion show organized by the top five finalists of the ITKIB Young Fashion Designers’ Competition were popular with the crowd as well. 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair concluded on 25th of August with a show called Kibir, organized by the Project Fashion Competition winner, Mr. Selim Baklacı. The visitors of the exhibition were mainly from Albania, Algeria, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Iran, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Libia, Malta, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Syria, Tunisia, UAE, Ukraine, United Kingdom and USA. In bringing together designs and the winds of creativity, the 10th International İstanbul Fashion Fair introduced visitors to some highly fetching creations. Vivid colors, striking designs, the latest trends and chic accessories all made up for some snapshots blowing in the winds of fashion. Visitor delegations from Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Egypt, Germany, Greece, Iran, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Spain, Syria and United Kingdom have been hosted by special “Hosted Buyer Programme”. Trade mission via “Undersecretariat of Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade” from Algeria, Egypt, France, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Russian Federation, Spain, UAE, United Kingdom and USA has visited the 10th International Istanbul Fashion Fair. Editors and press members have been invited by ITKIB and CNR EXPO. Associations like; The Israel Textile and Fashion Association, BAATPE - Bulgarian Association of Apparel and Textile Producers and Exporters members were hosted.
