Our General Information -- Speakers & Worship Leaders Rev. Dr. Diana DeWitt is Cost $65 - For a shared room $90 - For your own room This includes your stay in a hotelstyle room and three meals - dinner on Friday evening and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. You will not need to bring sheets, towels, or pillows. Everyone will have their own bed. You may request a specific roommate if you wish. Items you might want to bring: • Bible and pens. • Books, games, or a craft for free time. • Consider a light jacket, umbrella, and flashlight, as we will be walking between building across the camp. If the cost of the retreat would keep you from attending, please accept a full or partial scholarship! She is currently serving as Executive Director of Aspen Tree Ministries, which seeks to be God's agent of grace and love in bringing people into healing, wholeness, and restoration. Sam McGlothlin will be graduating from Vanderbilt Divinity School with a Master's of Divinity in May 2016. She is seeking ordination in the TN conference of the UMC as an elder. She currently works at Providence UMC as the ministry intern. Valerie Craig is the co-founder of Tennessee Voices for Victims, a non-profit victim advocacy agency that believes in the empowerment of crime victims so they can become victors, in the accountability of offenders so they can heal and stop the cycle of violence, and the power of a voice to speak out mercifully against injustices so our world can change. Additionally, Valerie uses her time and energy to help strengthen the ministries of Providence Church including providing leadership with their small group ministries, shortterm Bible studies, and a variety of other teams. Jeana Campbell is the worship leader at Providence UMC in Mount Juliet, TN. She graduated with a degree in Vocal Performance from Middle Tennessee State University. She has performed with the Nashville Opera and worked in country radio as an Executive Producer for 103 WKDF. Jeana has led churches in worship for over ten years and is passionate about leading deep experiences of worship that lead to deep experiences of God. 5th Annual Women’s Retreat Beloved: Our Identity in Christ Jenny Youngman is the worship pastor at Providence UMC. She graduated from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2000 with a Master of Theological Studies which led her to a career in religious publishing and songwriting. Since then, she’s recorded two full-length albums and in 2015, Jenny released her new book Scrambled Starts: Family Prayers for Morning, Bedtime, and Everything In Between—an everyday prayer book for busy families.
