Amen.” Revelation 7:12 New King James Version (NKJV) For He is forever faithful and true and has allowed you to be faithful and true to our ministry: “Give Ye Them to Eat” in Mexico. Through your presence and gracious giving you extend your love to the needy, transform lives and may you know you are changing the word while extending God’s kingdom here on earth. Enjoy reading about the activities held August through November 2015! Community and Family Health Program Health Promoters Group K, successfully completed their final Advanced Course, graduated September 4th, 2015 and are serving in their rural communities. Nurse Annette Smart and co-founder of this hea lt h pr og ram imparted valuable instruction to these amazing women. “GYTTE’s” Puebla Office provided our facilities for free HIV Testing. This activity was sponsored by Public Health Services of the State of Puebla by Dr. Minerva Hernandez. Our Health Promoters were providing HIV/ AIDS chats to the public in general and or convincing the public to get tested. Health Regional Meeting Nov. 24th, 2015 for continued education and supplies to be provided to our Health Promoters. Community Development Program During October our ”Tree of Life” training center received the Post-Graduate College of Puebla also Governmental Community Development staff of Chiautla and taught them the eco-friendly and self-sustainable developmental options that we provide rural communities in need. August through September our training center provided employment to local rural women while our employee Health Promoter/Artisan Estela Jimenez trained them how make the Christmas scenes, our Holiday fundraiser. Special blessings to those that placed orders! Nov. 17th, 2015 our staff harvested our “Jamaica Crop”. Our staff took take our harvest to Tlancualpican’s “Getsemaní” Methodist Church, where locals were provided the opportunity to manually process the flower to gain some income for the Christmas season. God bless every “GYTTE” donor! During September an orientation about Straw-bale Construction was provided to an adult school for teachers in Buena Vista de Juarez. LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT During August an orientation was provided at Chiautla about the reproduction of quality breed goats. AWARE TEAM PROGRAM AWARE Mission Teams from the United Stated came to Mexico and became Christ’s hands, heart and feet while working side by side with the local villagers of Tlancualpican. Thank you: Brentwood UMC TN, Reverend’s García that served as volunteers from Belmont UMC TN, Warrensville UMC PA, Countryside Community UMC PA, Clifford UMC PA, Baptist Church PA and Reverend Hartman UMC D.S. SWB District PA. The projects and values below are in dollars. Project 1: Furrow Irrigation System to water our fields turning our land into crops to become more self-sustainable while providing food to villagers at a subsidized cost. Project cost: $25,000.00 Project 2: Within our livestock options integrate aquaculture at our farm at a small scale to make it available to the locals as a means to improve their diet and as an option for locals to generate income. Project cost: $15,300.00 Project 3: There are impoverished indigenous families in need of a home: $8,000 per home. These men, women and families from an indigenous community in Puebla, Ixtepec need your help! Remember that whatever amount you gather till Nov. 30 th has the possibility to be matched by GBGM if the timing is right. Our ministry was blessed last year with some of our donors getting their amount matched. Global Ministries will allocate matching funds dollar for dollar up to the first $1 million in gifts to Advance projects received online on Dec. 1, 2015, between 12:00 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. CT. A maximum of $2,500 per individual gift to a project will be dispersed as matching funds. A project may receive a maximum of $25,000 in matching funds.
