Helmet: A cotton buffer can be
used to remove decal adhesives
and buff the helmets.
The paint on the helmet contains
fatty acids and protein meal
from cattle to give the paint it’s
glossy finish.
Sandpaper is used to remove
paint for refurbishing. Bone glue
from cattle and pigs is used as a
sticking agent between paper
and abrasive material
Broccoli: grown by
Arizona farmers.
Wheat: grown by farmers.
Fruit: grown by Arizona farmers.
Eggs: from Hickman’s hens.
Football: The leather football is made
from cowhide (20 footballs can
be made from 1 cowhide).
Turf: The grass is grown by
Arizona turf farmers.
Socks: Game day socks are
made of a blend of cotton and
other materials.
Cleats : All cleats used to be made from
leather. Today, you might find stearic acid
(a fatty acid from livestock) is used in the
adhesives that hold the bottom of the
cleat to the upper.
Cheese on the omelet: produced from
the milk of dairy cows.
Plastic Tray: some plastics are made
using corn polymer making them biodegradable.
