Key facts
First steps in Croatia
Decathlon chose Zagreb for its first store in
Croatia. The 3,500m2 store is located in one of
the city’s busiest shopping centres where the
very enthusiastic and sporty population can
benefit from fabulous exhibition and test zones.
OXYLANE becomes DECATHLON
To keep things simple and straightforward for
our teams, our customers and our partners,
Decathlon becomes the unique brand for all our
activities throughout the world.
Three brands around Mont-Blanc
Since last winter, the town of Passy (France,
Haute-Savoie) hosts the brand new design
centre for mountain sports. At the foot of Mont
Blanc and the Aravis mountains, Quechua,
Wed’ze and Simond now benefit from the
perfect location to satisfy the needs of
mountain sports enthusiasts from all over the
world.

Innovation at Decathlon
Oxelo’s B1 scooter elected as the best innovation
The teams working for the OXELO brand dreamt up the B1 scooter. The scooter was awarded the number
one spot at the 2014 Decathlon Innovation Awards ahead of SIMOND’s Karo belay device and WED’ZE’s Max
Edge e-tint ski mask.
4 Belgian stores actually took the initiative to invite their best customers to participate in the ceremony,
which was streamed live.
The scooter, which is designed for 2 to 4 year olds kids, convinced the public by demonstrating how easy
and safe it is to steer (the steering system has a patent). It’s an innovation that makes kids feel safer and
makes it easier to learn how to balance.
The scooter will be available in our stores and on-line from this summer.
