Judges Statement: The relatively quick transformation of this former veterinary hospital is simply breathtaking. From the use of randomly available window sizes to
create this kinetically playful front façade to the careful introduction of natural light to the central spaces of the building there is nothing but success in this renovation.
The once dark and dingy interior spaces have become lively and welcoming and one can imagine oneself enjoying working here. Even the risers on the new steel stairs
get a touch of whimsy. Bravo!
