Background
The role of technology in education is not restricted to the
use of technological tools in learning. Instead, it
concerns an array of tools applicable to both hardware
and software to facilitate the learning processes. Thus,
any facility which enables students to achieve the
learning objectives easier, better, and faster should
involve such an educational technology.
Considering the fast development of educational technology
studies and practices in Indonesia, it is important to bring an
international conference on educational technology to Indonesia.
For that purpose, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) in
collaboration with Universitas Terbuka (UT), Universitas
Pendidikan Ganesha (UNDIKSHA) and Universitas
Mahendradatta will host a world conference: “Educational
Technology World Conference” (ETWC) 2016 in Bali. This
event is supported by the Association of Educational and
Communication Technology (AECT) USA.
Target Participants
We invite teachers, lecturers, educational practitioners, observers
of education, teachers and community leaders having interest in
education. We are expecting to have more than 500 participants
from various institutions to attend the conference and more than
300 papers presented.
Other participants coming from non-pedagogic institutions, such
as Ministry of Education, Ministry of Research, Science and
Higher Education and their respective implementing units, are
also welcome.
