AK ASOL Mobile through the sun On average, a car is seated with 1.3 persons. More than 90% of all trips are shorter than 9 km. Up to now, no vehicle has been optimized for these requirements. That's what we are doing. High-Efficiency Drives Crashtest Drive Test Stand Powerbox Aluminium Spaceframe OSCAR How much car? open source car Since 12 years the members of AKASOL are successfull developing solarcars and electric lightweight vehicles. OSCAR, which philosophy and design is recalling the cabin scooters utilizes the advantages of electric vehicles even more consistently. The new vehicle is even smaller, more compact and economical without being less comfortable or fun to drive. At a length of 2.50 m and a width of 1.20 m the electric lightweight vehicle OSCAR is a small city car. Two adults (or one adult and two children) benefit from a reduced need for parking space at its falling availability in urban areas. Without restrictions to a comfortable and joyful ride, they can move about environmental-friendly as well as efficiently. This project puts man along with technology again at the center of attention. Easy operation (no shifting of gears or coupling) and easy-to-service features facilitate making friends with this car. Its low dimensions, a useful load of 200 kg, and a turning circle of less than 7.5 m render it ideal for daily mobility in the area. 1 liter car Technical Data 1 liter per 100 km consumption 6 KWh/ 100 km off the grid 100 to 300 km radius without recharging enough for everyday use seats 2 tall adults space miracle for 2 basket ball players or one player plus 2 kids 130 km/h maximum speed 2,5 m long crosswise parking permitted a built in parking space! 1,55 m high traffic under control 1,20 m wide slim and easily steered Join us !
