MARRIAGE TIP OF THE MONTH Our marriages are supposed to reflect, through our love for each other, how much God loves each person. Showing this Godly love can sometimes be a challenge, especially when our human selves are less than perfect! When we set our minds to consciously changing how we act, we can do better. Pope Francis encourages us to, “Set your stakes on great ideals, the ideals that enlarge the heart, the ideals of service that makes your talents fruitful…do not be afraid to dream great things!” Dream great things for your marriage and your love will flourish as God intended! PARENTING TIP OF THE MONTH Easter is a wonderful time to help our children understand the power of love and forgiveness, shown to us by the death and Resurrection of Christ. As children of God they too are called to love others, especially their family members, and to offer forgiveness when someone hurts or offends them. Remind them that Easter teaches us to remember that when difficulties come into our lives, as they will, we must have faith that life will get better. The message of Easter, through the Resurrection, is that with faith and prayer, life’s crosses can be overcome. A wonderful message for every child to understand! Last year there were FOUR BUS LOADS that went from this area to Ottawa. If you have been there before for this event, you know how exciting and inspiring this event is. If you haven’t been there yet, you can come with us and take part in what has been the one of the largest annual demonstrations ever in Ottawa. Last year there were approximately 25,000 Pro-Life Supporters that took part. We encourage you to call and reserve your seat early. This will help insure that there is a place for everyone, and no one will be disappointed.
