O
n February 13th, the MetroNorth Chamber of Commerce will celebrate
your 2014 Excellence in Business Awards winners in the micro, small,
business and not-for-profit categories Applicants are judged on their
exemplary performance, innovation and community commitment This is a
prestigious honor and we want to pack the house with support for the winners
Besides the awards ceremony, attendees will hear from keynote speaker
Michael Keller, CEO and President of Pearson’s Candy Company Making
quality confections since 1909, this once family-owned business has had
to adapt many times over the past 105 years to become the company it is
today (We all know about the Nut Goodie, Salted Nut Roll, Mint Patties,
and Bit-O-Honey, but how about the Seven
Up Bar or the Chicken Dinner Bar?)
Hear about their rocky road to sweet success
(insert groan here) while celebrating our 2014
award winners
