Israel Study Tour
May 20-31, 2014
Visit the Holy Land, they say, and you’ll never read the Bible the
same way; imagine traveling to the land of the Bible, the Holy
Land, to see for yourself the place where Abraham put his tents
and trusted in God; where David fought for the mighty God of
Jacob; where Jesus, God incarnate, came as Messiah to the Jewish
people and ultimately to the whole world; where the early church
had its birth among Israel, God’s people.
I am privileged to be leading this tour with my friend, Dr. Robert
Smith, from Beeson Divinity School, and Dr. Letra M. Smith.
The start dates and times for
upcoming classes are as follows:
Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013 (Lesson 1&2)
may 20-31, 2014 is your opportunity to experience an
unforgettable journey in the land of the Bible. Our goal is to
increase your understanding of the Word of God and to draw you
closer to the God of the Word. This is 12-day tour with 4/5 star
accommodations, buffet meals, air conditioned buses, shopping
and first rate guides. $4,298.00 departing from: Atlanta (ATL).
There is an optional Jordan extension May 31- June 4, 2014,
$1,328.00.
Sunday, Oct. 20, 2013 (Lesson 1&2)
(9:00 a.m. – noon)

TRAINING
In observance of this month, we, the EBC Family,
will “Worship in Pink” on October 26 & 27 at all
sites. We ask each of you to please wear your
favorite shade of pink to help heighten
awareness of the disease, in support and
remembrance of loved ones and friends, and to
celebrate victory over the disease.
Do you enjoy sharing your faith with others, or
want to become a more effective witness for
Christ? Committed men and women are needed
who can receive our new members that come
forward at the end of services, effectively share
the gospel with them, and assist them in
becoming fully participating members at EBC.
During the month of October a Wall of
Remembrance and Recognition will be set
aside for you to place a ribbon or paper candle in
support of loved ones and friends and to
celebrate victory as a survivor. You may visit the
wall at EBC: Atlanta.
