NEW DUMP
LOCALS’ FURY OVER COUNCIL’S DECISION TO GRANT
NEW WASTE FACILITY PERMIT AT KERDIFFSTOWN
Despite almost 400 objections, residents of Naas were
shocked to learn earlier this month that Kildare County
Council had awarded a new Waste Facility Permit at
Kerdiffstown in Naas.
According to Kildare
North Labour representative and former TD
Emmet Stagg, Kildare
County Council issued
the permit to David
Boylan Ltd. for 98,928
Tonnes of soil and stone.
"The site of the landfill
is adjacent to the A1
waste site which caused
huge controversy previously and is being remediated at a cost of €30
million to the State"

stated Emmet Stagg.
Brian McGeever of
Clean Air Naas (CAN),
the environmental lobby
group, commented "We
are absolutely stunned
with this decision. The
Council is completely
ignoring the wishes of
Naas residents and our
elected politicians. Under
Irish law, the dump
operator is basically
self-regulating and there
is a serious risk of such
permits being abused.
The Council’s inexplicable decision raises
serious questions about
local planning matters”.
According to CAN,
they agreed to attend regular meetings with the
EPA and Kildare County
Council who publicly
stated that they would not
allow the same planning
mistakes
reoccur.
According to CAN, had
the Council reacted
promptly to previous
concerns from residents
about how the A1 Waste
operator was abusing its
waste permit, the Irish
public would not now be
facing a huge clean-up
bill. Following a local
lobby campaign, the huge
74 acre site was shut but
still contains over 3.1
million Tonnes of rotting
waste. The dump was
also the location of a
disastrous fire during
2011 which burned out of
control for almost 1
month. CAN fears that
history may be about to
repeat itself once again.
“With strong local
opposition to the new
application, we genuinely expected the Council
would listen to the
wishes of the public.
However by making
such an unusual and
bizarre decision, the
Council has made it

clear they don’t care
about Naas residents or
local businesses.
We cannot politely
state our frustration with
the Council and have
completely lost confidence in them. Clean Air
Naas are resigning
immediately from the
Naas

Clean-up Group but we
are presently making
further investigations
into this planning decision and other related
matters” cautioned Joe
Friel of CAN.
Local Fianna Fail TD
James Lawless commented on the situation
also. He told Kildare
Times "There is an atrocious history of waste
management in this area
with the disastrous A1
waste site etched long
into the memory of all
local residents.”

won €250,000 on a National Lottery Scratch Card when
working his night shift recently.
The lucky winner bought a € 10 Money

until his break to scratch the card and couldn't
believe his luck when it was revealed he had
won the a quarter of a million euro top prize.
“I was so surprised I wasn’t sure what to do,
so I rang my Dad straight away tell him and
he advised me to sign the ticket”,
he said.
Discussing his plans for his big win the
lucky man said, ‘I’m going to buy an apartment and look after my family with a few
treats. They keep me grounded, so I’ll be
sensible with the money and plan for my
future.’ The winner wishes to remain

Aphrodite Laser & Beauty Clinic have just launched
a brand new treatment in Ireland & Kildare
3D LIPO CHIN CRYOLIPOLYSIS
How Does 3D Lipo Chin Cryolipolysis Work?
A targeted super-cooling process using a special vacuumed applicator,
that lowers the treatment area to -6oC. Clinical studies show fat cells
cannot survive at this temperature and so it effectively kills the fat cells
underneath the skin, literally freezing them to the point of elimination.
The benefit of this technology is that no other cells are affected, only the
fat cells are frozen. Only fat cells can’t survive under such temperatures.
During the process, the fat cells crystallize, and die and are naturally
eliminated from your body. During the next few months, as those fat cells
are naturally dispersed, your new chin shape appears.
No treatment discomfort. No downtime. No knives. No suction hoses.
No needles. No scars. Just a Non-Surgical 3D alternative to liposuction.
Using the unique combination of electro and cryo therapy 20-40%
of the fat cells in the treated area die in a natural way
and dissolve over the course of several months.

Man uses hammer to smash
up Naas Hospital E.D.
On Saturday, August 13th, a man went on a rampage in
the Emergency Department of Naas Hospital using a
hammer to smash up the area.
It is believed the man became irritated after having to wait to be treated and left
the building only to return moments later carrying two hammers.
The angry man who is believed to be in his late 30s proceeded to use the hammers to smash a number of windows and a glass door in the hospital while threatening staff before he fled from the Emergency Department.
The incident, which occurred at around 11.15pm, left many patients distressed.
It is understood that there were around twenty people waiting to be treated in the
Emergency Department
at the time, including
small children. Many of
these people were forced
to hide under chairs and
take cover anywhere they
could as the man went on
a rampage throughout the
area.
Thankfully nobody
was hurt as a result of the
actions of the man.
Need for index linked rents
Peter McVerry Trust, the homeless and housing charity, has called for the
Government to urgently bring forward legislation to link the cost of renting to the
consumer price index.
The charity made its
call following the publication of the latest rental
report by Daft.ie. The
report shows rents in
Kildare increased by
12.5% in the 12 months
to June 2016.
Pat Doyle, CEO of
Peter McVerry Trust,
said “The latest rental
market report by Daft.ie
presents a very worrying
picture and means it is
impossible to ignore the
urgent need for rents to
be linked to the consumer price index. The
Government must now
move to bring forward
legislation before the
Oireachtas within days
of its return following
the summer recess in
order to address the
issue.
“The increases documented in this latest
report show that this is a
nationwide problem with
rents up 12.5% in
Kildare where the average price of renting is
now €1,036. The cost of
renting in Kildare has
risen 47.6% since its
lowest point in the recession.”
He continued "Peter
McVerry Trust is calling
on the Government and
the
Minister
for
Housing,
Planning,
Community and Local
Government to take all
necessary steps to bring
into effect legislation
that will link rents to
changes in the consumer
price index. Recent history has shown that we
cannot rely on an
increase in housing supply to be an effective
control measure. The
evidence from the Celtic
Tiger period showed that
rents increased dramatically even during a period of record housing
output.”
Continuing Mr Doyle
said “Peter McVerry
Trust believes that the
Oireachtas must act in

the interests of the common good, to bring forward legislation to regulate the boundaries within which rents can rise
and fall. Legal experts do
not believe there is any
impediment preventing
the Oireachtas from
implementing
such
legislation.”

Deputy Lawless continued,
“The new application is of
course a different operator on
a different site but still people
are very concerned that the
very poor track record of
inspections and enforcement
will carry over. I objected to
this application on both occasions and have given legal Pictured: Deputy
advice to the CAN group in James Lawless
terms of potential avenues to
appeal. I think the key here will be enforcement - if
the applicant complies with the terms of the permit
and merely deposits sand and stone then that would
obviously lessen concerns. However the real concern
lies with the mention of "recycling" in the application - what is to be recycled and who will monitor
that? The regulatory powers need real teeth so that if
there is a breach of trust here again, sanctions should
be rapidly applied. Having discussed the issue with
the head of environment in Kildare County Council I
am aware that there is an implicit review clause in
2017 when planning is up for renewal so that will
provide another opportunity to see what the actual
practice at the site has been by then"

The Fianna Fail TD
told Kildare Times "The
Town
and
Village
Renewal Scheme which
the Minister announced
last week aims to revitalise up to 200 towns and
villages across the country. It is part of a €10
million scheme nationally
and Kildare should benefit to the tune of €380K".
He continued "In total
€380,000 will be available to Kildare and I have
been I touch with Kildare
County Council to ensure
that we apply for the full
allocation of funds that is
available for Kildare.
"Kildare
County
Council can apply for
grants for up to 8 separate
towns or village projects
and submit outline plans
to the Department of Arts,
Heritage, Regional, Rural
and Gaeltacht Affairs in
September for approval.
"Kildare
County
Council can apply for
grants under this scheme
for up to 8 separate
town/village projects. The
council will need to submit plans to the
Department of Arts,
Heritage, Regional, Rural
and Gaeltacht Affairs in
September for approval.
Funding will be released
to Local Authorities once
projects are approved by
the Department of Arts,
Heritage, Regional, Rural

The maximum grant for
any single project is
€100,000".
The funding available
to Kildare County
Council is designed to
meet up to 85% of the
total cost of each project.
The Council will then be
required to partner with
local businesses and local
communities to execute
the projects.
Deputy
Frank
O'Rourke said "From the
Department’s website, I
understand that the type
of projects to be funded
under the scheme could
include the following;
increase the attractiveness of the town or village as a local commercial and social centre, and
increase its sustainability
as a place in which to live
and work enhance its
environment and amenity
in the interests of residents, businesses and visitors; enhance the culture
and local heritage assets
of the town/village and
promote tourism; tackle
minor physical infrastructural deficits and land
assembly issues.
"Many smaller towns
in Kildare suffered significantly during the economic downturn and are
still suffering from the

aftermath. I know from
discussing with Business
and community groups in
towns like Kilcock,

benefit to the towns" concluded the TD.

The Sunflower Clinic
The importance of Occupational
Therapy is fast becoming apparent in
our mainstream schools as well as in our
special education facilities to help
children with needs to access the school
curriculum.
In the classroom, children are compared daily with
their same age group and teachers are becoming more
aware of detecting the early signs of possible need. It
is internationally proven that early detection and early
intervention or treatment has the best possible
outcome in helping these children overcome their
difficulties.
The Sunflower Clinic is an independent
Occupational Therapist service operating across
Leinster and Munster and opened its newest clinic in
Naas 12 months ago. The Naas clinic specialises in
helping children and adolescents with a range of needs
to perform their best in school. In a recent interview
with Julie O'Sullivan, founder and head occupational
therapist at The Sunflower Clinic, she spoke of the
importance of a child's ability to learn. “If a child cannot sit still, it is difficult for them to learn effectively”.
“Learning involves four key aspects”, says Julie.
“Firstly, the child must be able to concentrate for long
enough to listen to what the teacher is saying. Then,
they need to be able to sit still and then process the
information. They need to attend to what is important
and be able to screen out what is irrelevant. Finally,
they need to be able to communicate what they have
heard and learnt, most often via handwriting.” These
vital components are grouped into Gross and Fine
Motor, Visual Perceptual, Movement Control and
Concentration skills.
Whilst the clinic gets a lot of enquiries about handwriting difficulties specifically, it is the other skills
that are often the source of the difficulty. “Think of it
like a pyramid”, says Julie, “where the more fundamental skills are at the bottom and the more complex
tasks, e.g. handwriting, are at the top”.
The essential role of the Occupational Therapist is to
work on these core skills to improve a child's ability to
perform the more complex tasks on the top of the
pyramid.
The Sunflower Clinic in Naas offers specific
Occupational Therapy assessments for handwriting
which are designed to quickly identify the areas that
require attention and is fully equipped to provide sensory integration therapy for its clients. The Naas clinic
also offers in-school talks for teachers and parents,
given by its clinical team-lead and Senior
Occupational Therapist - Michelle O'Donoghue, who
has spent several years abroad working with specialist
children's clinics. These talks are invaluable for teachers to understand the early warning signs of possible
need and offer practical and therapeutic advice on how
to manage issues that may arise in the school environment. Michelle was recently quoted as saying:
“Initially, it was challenging to try and get the message
about the importance of early detection and intervention out there but the talks have proven very popular
and we are often asked back for follow up talks with
parents, which is very encouraging.” She went on to
say: ”The earlier we can detect a possible issue, the
earlier we can target therapy at the specific area of
need and the child improves much better than if left
without therapy until they are older.”

€951,000 raised for charity
by The Rory Foundation
Rory McIlroy and his charitable foundation, the Rory
Foundation, announced recently that they raised €951,000 for
three children’s charities, including two based in Co. Kildare.
LauraLynn Children’s
Hospice, the Naas based
Barretstown and the
Johnstown, Kildare based
Jack & Jill Foundation all
benefitted from the
money, which was raised
throughout the Dubai
Duty Free Irish Open,
held at the K Club in
Straffan in May. Each of
the three charities will
receive €317,000 to go
towards specific projects.
Rory McIlroy commented "While winning
the Irish Open this year
meant a lot to me, being
able to give my prize
money to three local children’s charities made it
all feel much more special. I can think of no
charities as worthy or
deserving of support than
Barretstown, the Jack &
Jill Foundation and
LauraLynn Children’s
Hospice. I’m so proud of
how
much
my
Foundation raised and
I’m already looking for-
ward to new projects in
2017.”
Barretstown will direct
their funding towards a
new dining hall at their
Naas campus. The Jack
and Jill Foundation’s
donation will go towards
more than 19,800 hours
of home nursing care and
LauraLynn Children’s
Hospice will have
enough money to provide
two Clinical Nurse
Specialist Salaries, auxiliary expenses and administration for over two
years.
CEO of Barretstown
Dee Ahearne
said
“Barretstown is absolutely thrilled with the amazing amount being donated
by
the
Rory
Foundation from the Irish
Open. On behalf of those
children and their families, we would like to say
a huge Barretstown
‘Thank You’ to Rory and
all the team in the
Foundation whose hard
work behind the scenes
made the Irish Open and
the other events surrounding it such a success. The impact this
funding will have on the
lives of the children with
serious illness we serve
will be huge. We will be
directing the funding
towards Barretstown’s
new dining hall which is
the single largest new
project on site since we
opened over 20 years
ago. Our Dining Hall is
the heart of camp and
serves over 2,500
campers annually.”
CEO of the Jack & Jill
Foundation Jonathan
Irwin commented on the
donation:
"This
€317,000 donation from
the Rory Foundation is
literally a gift of time to
the families under our
wing, with every cent

nursing care at €16 per

of home nursing care per
month at a cost of up to

money will make a big
difference. To put it into
context nationally and
locally, that’s over 70

the Rory Foundation
donation will support the

What this golf and charity
champion has gifted to
families is time to do the
‘normal’ things that others take for granted - I
should know as I’ve
walked this pathway like a full night’s sleep or
a day out with the healthy
siblings, safe in the
knowledge that their sick
child is being well cared
for at home by one of our
nurses. Furthermore, in
choosing Jack & Jill,
Rory has extended a hand
of friendship to our families which gives them a
real boost knowing that a
golf and charity champion like this is on their
side. The money and
awareness he has raised
for Jack & Jill is breathtaking and I want to thank
everyone behind the Rory

Kildare councillor in favour of sugar tax
Kildare councillor Fiona McLoughlin
Healy has spoken out in favour of the
proposed sugar tax.
The Fine Gael councillor said "I am delighted
that despite intense corporate lobbying (Minister
for Social Protection)
Leo Varadkar continues
to support the introduction of a tax on sugary
drinks, as discussed at
the launch of our Food
Rebels - Fun Family
Fitness campaign earlier
this year.
"Intuitively people will
shun another tax but
there are compelling
arguments for a sugar tax
to influence producer and
consumer behaviour".
Cllr
McLoughlin
Healy went on to outline
her top three reasons to
support a sugar tax, her
first reason regarding
Obesity. He stated
"Obesity has become an
epidemic in Ireland and
sugary drinks are a significant contributor to
obesity. By the age of

three, one in four of our
children in Ireland are
already overweight or
obese, affecting their
quality of life and their
families' quality of life
for the rest of their lives.
Head of the Royal
College of Physicians
Policy Group on Obesity,
Professor Donal O'Shea
has stated “a tax on
sugar-sweetened drinks
has the strongest evidence of effectiveness of
taxation approaches to
address overweight and
obesity. These include
sugar-sweetened soft
drinks, energy drinks,
fruit drink, sports drinks
and fruit-juice concentrates."
An article published in
the British Medical
Journal on October 31,
2013, states that a 20%
tax on sugar-sweetened
beverages would reduce
obesity rates in the
United Kingdom by
about 1.3%.
If you think 1.3%
seems very little, consider how much obesity
costs us as tax-payers".
Secondly she said "The
money we spend treating
obesity and the multiple
obesity related diseases
could better be spent
elsewhere.
"The cost of obesity to
the State and to the taxpayer has been estimated
at €1.64 billion a year. If
we fail to tackle the obesity epidemic it will continue to drain fiscal
finances, money that
could better be spent on
front-line jobs in our ho
pitals and community
policing or on public
infrastructure like roads,
transport, broadband. In
many countries with universal health insurance,
sugar taxes contribute to
the cost of universal
healthcare".
Finally the South
Kildare based councillor
said that the cost of free
healthcare or universal
health insurance in many
countries is paid for by a
minimum health insurance levy paid by all citizens and "sin taxes" like
taxes on tobacco, alcohol
and sugar. The less of the
latter tax, the more of the
former tax is needed in
her view.
"In summary then, a
sugar tax is not the only
solution to obesity- the
problem is more complex
than that. However, if we
are serious about improving our children's quality
of life, cutting the cost of
obesity to the tax-payer
and about universally
available healthcare, we
need to introduce evidence based initiatives
that work. We should of
course expect intense
lobbying by groups representing corporations
with billions to spend
getting messaging into
the public domain that is
more about protecting
profit margins than it is
about jobs.
"My children's future
and that of our nation's
children matters more"
concluded Cllr. Fiona
McLoughlin Healy.

Hurling for Cancer Research
strikes the half million euro mark
The 2016 Hurling for Cancer Research charity match
held in Newbridge recently and organised by legendary
racehorse trainer Jim Bolger and two-time National
Hunt champion jockey Davy Russell raised €105,000 for
the Irish Cancer Society’s cancer research.
The charitable duo
have now raised over
€500,000 for the society’s vital research over
the last five years
through their celebrity
hurling match involving
Ireland’s top GAA,
horseracing and sporting
stars.
This year’s clash in St
Conleth’s Park in
Newbridge on August
9th saw Davy Russell’s
Best jockey for poll
position against Jim
Bolger’s Stars. When the
final whistle blew it was
Russell’s side which
claimed the glory for the
first time in five years,
with a score of 5:24 to
6:15.
Sporting celebrities
Niall Quinn, Davy
Fitzgerald, DJ Carey,
Katie Walsh and Micheál
Ó Muircheartaigh were
among the famous
names who lined out to
support the match.
Jim Bolger commented:
“Hurling for Cancer
Research is a great
example of sportsman-
ship. To raise this substantial amount of
money was a real team
effort. Davy and I would
like to thank all the men
and women who lined
out on the pitch for a
fantastic game of hurling, to those who bought
tickets and supported the
game in any way, you
have all helped us in the
fight back against cancer. Cancer is a disease
that has unfortunately
touched families across
the country, but research
is already having a positive impact with more
and more people now
surviving cancer.”
The Irish Cancer
Society is the leading
voluntary funder of cancer research in Ireland.
Since 2011, the Society
has invested over €14m
into funding 135 individuals whose areas of
research encompass
breast, prostate, blood,
oesophageal, colorectal,
childhood, head and
neck, brain, lung and
ovarian cancer.
Mark Mellett, Head of
Fundraising, Irish Cancer
Society said, “We are
blown away by the
extraordinary sum of
money that Jim Bolger
and Davy Russell have
raised through Hurling
for Cancer Research. For
five years now Mr
Bolger and Mr Russell
have gathered our greatest sports stars on the
field – raising an phenomenal half a million
euro in the process. This
money has already, and
will continue to, improve
the lives of cancer
patients by developing
better treatments and
techniques to diagnose
and treat this disease.”

ITT Dublin Offering Exceptional
Part Time Learning Opportunities
The Institute of Technology in Tallaght has always prided itself
on its ability to deliver a multi faceted educational experience
to its students. This is achieved through a combination of
elements including its strong links with industry which allows
the academic faculty in the college to recognise shortfalls in
skills in different areas and develop course programmes which
meet these needs.
The fundamental priority in ITT Dublin is to expose students to both practical skills and theoretical learning to help ensure that they are 'industry ready'
on graduation. The college offers exceptional facilities which include over 17
computer labs, 15 science labs (including a chemical and bioprocessing pilot
scale facility), 12 engineering labs, 2 professional kitchens and a full service
restaurant managed by students under the supervision of lecturers. All of these
facilities enable ITT Dublin students to get 'hands on' experience and help
improve and develop their employment prospects.
ITT Dublin has over 36 part-time courses across a number of disciplines.
With a unique Masters Programme in Applied Culinary Nutrition and courses
in the area of Social Care as well as in Accounting and Professional Services,
Business Management, Marketing, Computing, Engineering and Science.
IT Tallaght also delivers a free graduate conversion course which offers a
Higher Diploma in Science and Computing for Level 8 graduates as well as a

BIFE will bring advanced entry to graduates of courses at BIFE to a wide variety of
courses in IOT Tallaght leading to honour degrees.
Given that BIFE
have an outstanding
reputation in Further

these

enhance BIFE's position as the leading
Institute in this
region. These agreements articulate links
between BIFE in key
areas across a wide
range of disciplines.
The Principal Ray

the Principal of Bray

noted that a lot of
work was put into
getting this agreement

of their Institutes. The
benefit will be felt by
learners who will
have pathways open
to them and to staff
who will work more
closely collaboratively.
Mr Gabriel Allen

was another milestone
in the development of
a significant Institute

STUDYING FOR EXAMS - GET TO GRIPS WITH TIME MANAGEMENT
Now that it is September now those studying
for Junior & Leaving Cert exams need to get
organised for the exams which are only 9
months away.
Many students do poorly in exams and sometimes it
is not through lack of effort but through a poor understanding of what is required to succeed in exams.
EXAM FAILURE is a result of students unable to
do the Exam Questions to a proper standard and / or
Poor Time Management in the exam. It is important to
get a Study Plan in place and if you prepare now you
will peak in June 2017 just when the exams
commence.
Top Tips for Exam Preparation
9 months to the exam - Sept 2016:
1. Get the past papers of the subjects you are sitting
and READ CAREFULLY the format of each paper
noting which questions are compulsory and those
which are optional. Get familiar with the format of the
exams you are doing at this early stage.

Little Kickers
It's that time of year! Autumn is fast approaching and here at
Little Kicker's HQ we are busy preparing for our new term for
kids aged 2 - 5 years and awaiting our new arrival: "Little
Kicks"
Little Kicks is the perfect introduction to the
fun world of Little
Kickers for very tiny
players age 18 months 2.5 years. Children are
introduced to the basics
of football (dribbling,
striking, goal scoring
etc.) in a play-oriented
yet structured format,
using child-friendly but
realistic football equipment. Each child is given
the opportunity to work
within their ability level
but taught in a group
environment. Classes
also provide a fantastic
opportunity for you to
assist in your child’s
early education, helping
them develop physically
as well as improving cognitive and social skills.
More than 500 children
around Kildare have
enjoyed Little Kickers
and increased their fitness, improved their balance and co-ordination
and enhanced their social
skills. Little Kickers is a
fun filled soccer class
that is about playing ball
and enjoying yourself
with other children in a
safe, fun environment.
All coaches are Garda

uring the summer months, the Gaeltacht
colleges are the heartbeat of the west.
The coláistí samhraidh offer a gateway to
a living culture and language in a vibrant social
and communal context.
Visiting students
get to live, learn, and
engage with young
local Irish speakers
on a daily basis and
create lasting friendships, trí Ghaeilge,
over a number of
weeks. It is an experience that many parents wish to pass on
to their own children
and that many students want to revisit which explains why
many Gaeltacht colleges have already
been inundated with
requests to reserve
places on 2017
courses.
The Irish-language
and the Irish-language
Gaeltacht
experience is for all,
regardless of creed,
race,
nationality,
and/or political background and this year
alone colleges had
participants from as
far afield as England,
Germany, America
and beyond.
So don’t let your

an experience of a
lifetime. Not only
will they get the
opportunity
to
improve their spoken
Irish, they will fall in

with

language and their
lives

enriched beyond their
imagination.
Although there is an
upsurge of interest in
Irish language learning, the language is
declining in the
Gaeltacht regions.
Minority languages
worldwide are in crisis with a minority
language dying at a
rate of one every ten
days. The Irish language is no exception, especially as it
competes with one of
the strongest majority
languages. Local language activists are
working with the
local development
agencies to reverse
the language shift in
the Gaeltacht and
they recognise that
the Gaeltacht colleges
are one of their greatest assets. By choosing an Irish course in
the Gaeltacht, language
learners
are helping those
communities.

Spleodar also organises a wide range of after-care programmes from

‘LLearning Irish is Fun’ is the motto at Coláiste UISCE, and we now have over 22 years experience

The teaching of Irish through the thrilling medium of adventure sports helps students develop

Tree Care
With winter just around the corner, are your trees safe?
Last winter was the wettest winter on record in many parts of Ireland, and the six
major storms that hit the country, brought with them, torrential rain and winds
gusting up to 135 km/h in places.
If this is anything to go
by for the coming winter,
homeowners would be
well advised to have
identified, and attended
to or removed, potentially dangerous trees on
their property, as soon as
is possible.
To do this properly a
certified arborist should
be employed, as potential
hazards are not always
obvious to the untrained
eye, and competent treatments or removals will
require their professional
skills.
A full inspection will
identify issues that could
lead to tree or partial tree
failure, and appropriate
action can be initiated whether it be the removal
of dead or hanging limbs,
cabling or bracing to
strengthen a tree's ability
to withstand high winds
or heavy snow, pruning,
etc., etc., or complete
removal where there is
no reasonable alternative.

THE MIRACULOUS
PRAYER
Dear Heart of Jesus in the past I have asked
for many favours. This time I ask you this
very special one. Take it, dear Heart of Jesus
and place it within your broken Heart where
your Father sees it. Then, in his merciful eyes
it will become your favour not mine. Amen.
Say this prayer for three days. Promise
publication and favour will be granted. Never
known to fail.
T.M.
