Mix It Up at Lunch Day
October 17, 2011
The school social workers will be coordinating the Mix it up at Lunch Day
Program on October 17 th during the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade lunches. It's a
simple concept: Sit with someone new at lunch. Mix It Up at Lunch Day raises
student awareness about boundaries and divisions within schools, heightens
sensitivity toward social justice, and prompts students to interact with people
outside their normal social circles.
