Asia Pacific Denarau Island in Fiji. As part of this upgrade, the resort pool will also undergo much-needed renovations. To ensure these pool works are completed to the highest standards for our Owners, it will be necessary for us to close the pool for a period of approximately five weeks from 1 May 2013. Should you have an existing reservation, or are considering booking a stay at Wyndham Resort Denarau Island over this period, we would like to outline the alternate options that will be in place to ensure this upgrade has as minimal impact on your holiday as possible. Will a pool be available? As part of the overall resort upgrade, a second brand-new lagoon pool (including pool bar services) is scheduled for completion before 1 May 2013. Please note: this pool is much smaller than the main resort pool. The existing central spa facilities will continue to be available for your enjoyment. What alternative facilities will be available? There is a designated swimming area on the beach (at low tide) accessible directly from the front of the resort beach. Showers are available for your convenience. A number of water activities will be available including the free use of kayaks. Food and beverage will be available from the newly constructed restaurant next to Reception. We thank you for your understanding during this period and trust that you are aware our priority is ensuring Owners have an enjoyable holiday experience. DE6695 d Sy y ne O pe ra Ho us e Resort Hopping f ro m spectacular Sydney r Su f er ar sP ad ise a Be to the ch glamorous Gold Coast T he good old Aussie road trip is making a comeback as more and more travellers hit the road to experience the best this picturesque country has to offer. As a WorldMark South Pacific Club Owner, you have access to a number of beautiful, conveniently located resorts across Australia, making a road trip an even more appealing holiday option. SYDNEY Starting off in Sydney and winding up on the Gold Coast, this is the quintessential Aussie road trip. Many of us would remember loading up the Kingswood as a child and heading for the glistening shores of Surfers Paradise for a week of sun, sand and surf. With the affordable cost of air travel these days, road trips have become less of a necessity, but they are actually a great, fun way to travel – especially for those families with young children, as it offers the freedom to stop and stretch your legs whenever you please. If you are not from Sydney, but are using the city as a starting point for your journey, you may want to spend a few days here exploring all the iconic sights before setting off. Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Sydney offers a range of well-appointed studio, one and two-bedroom suites, conveniently located close to Darling Harbour and within easy access of Sydney’s best loved tourist attractions. From Sydney, follow the coast and head north, making Port Macquarie your first destination. An easy two-and-a-half-hour drive, you may not need to stop during this first leg of the journey at all, but if you do, there are plenty of places worth visiting along the way, including some of Sydney’s northern beaches. Leave the CBD before peak hour traffic begins to build up and arrive on the north shore in time for breakfast, before heading for Port Macquarie. RE SORT HOPPING 23 PORT MACQUARIE Make your first port of call Port Macquarie! Located midway between Sydney and Brisbane, about a five-hour drive from Sydney, there are ample opportunities to stop for a tea break and lots of beautiful sights to see, which will help your time on the road fly by. Port Macquarie boasts one of the best climates in Australia, making it a lovely place to visit any time of year. Offering a wide variety of activities, from water sports and nature walks, to wineries, museums and galleries, you could spend a week here and still not run out of things to do. However, your time in Port Macquarie on this particular trip will most likely be limited, so we suggest a bit of advance planning to choose your activities wisely! Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Flynns Beach is located in a striking natural setting and boasts a stunning outdoor swimming pool and spa, plus barbecue areas for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. COFFS HARBOUR G ol d Co as tT h For the next leg of your road trip, Coffs Harbour is an ideal choice to stay.
