Children’s Museum of Cleveland “Imagine”
A sold-out crowd of more than 300 got a sneak peek into the future home of the Children’s Museum of Cleveland
at “Imagine.”
Guests pulled up to the beautifully illuminated Stager Beckwith Mansion, which dates back to the 1800s, and were
treated to VIP mansion tours, cocktails, dinner in the ballroom presented by Fire Food and Drink, a live auction, dancing and dessert.
Taking center stage was the mansion itself, bathed in candlelight thanks to the dreamy, magical atmosphere created
by Stephen M. Tokar, of Tokar Event Design. Guests milled throughout each of the rooms, where renderings of the
proposed museum were positioned on easels for them to “imagine” the future of the site.
Celebrity hosts for “Imagine” were Ahmaad Crump, In Arena host for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Melissa Myers,
meteorologist for Fox 8. Gala chairman was Jennifer Lopez.
The museum’s new home will allow for double the exhibit space and three times the parking of the current location.
The Stager-Beckwith House is the last remaining Millionaire’s Row mansion available for repurpose. The transformation into the children’s museum will take place once funding is secured.
The Children’s Museum will remain open at its current University Circle location through Jan. 3, after which the
museum will service the community for a transition period through its “Museum Without Walls” program. STORY

Visiting Nurse Association of Ohio’s “Treasures of
Cleveland” was held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Stillwater Place. More than 200 guests gathered to support the organization’s mission of providing home health
and hospice care, as well as the development of a Music
Therapy program.
Event co-chairs, Bob Solich and Kerry Capwell, welcomed guests as they enjoyed small plate dining, live
music, a silent and live auction, and a short program.
Guests were able to enjoy the outdoors, as the large banquet space overlooked the Zoo’s Waterfowl Lake.
Through the generous support of sponsors and guests,
more than $100,000 was raised and the organization is
