Quality made in Germany We believe that successful projects are based on mutual trust, built on enduring business relationships, and shaped by teams who are prepared to give their best. Our challenge is to realize workable solutions even for our customers’ most demanding requirements. We achieve this by working closely with owners and/or their representatives. The design and construction of our tenders benefit from our expertise and innovation in all areas of production. Our main focus in the engineering of our tenders is not just their design, but also their ease of handling in everyday use, which is so important for the crew and owner. Our use of only the highest quality materials, our company’s many years of experience in megayacht construction and the diverse technical facilities at our yard allow us to meet the very highest quality demands. We are proud that a megayacht carrying a Yachtwerft Meyer tender or equipment can now be found in nearly every port on the planet. The many satisfied owners and crews are our biggest endorsement and our motivation for continuing to make unique ‘made in Germany’ products in the future. Jan and Michaela Meyer Quality made in Germany The Yard Yachtwerft Meyer More than just boats The Yard Having built many exceptional tenders, Yachtwerft Meyer has made a name for itself as one of the leading suppliers in the yachting sector, and has become a major player on the world superyacht scene. We have built custom tenders, pools and custom exterior parts for our large new builds and many smaller projects along the way. We have had a very close working relationship over the last years and will hopefully continue this for the future.” Karl H. Hartmann Hill Robinson International Ltd. Pools | Details Innovation made in Germany Equipment Lightweight and innovative Fiber Composite Technology is the key technology in modern manufacturing processes. Its main advantage is that it reduces weight, whilst maintaining high strength. The engineering of innovative composite parts involves construction drawings and strength calculations (FE-Analysis). In close cooperation with our partner company Fibretech Composites, which shares our site, Yachtwerft Meyer offers these services to all our customers, as well as investigation and development of new production technologies, which are not restricted solely to yacht and ship building. The results are innovative products and technologies for maritime use such as hulls, masts, equipment racks, furniture and passerelles, along with products for the security, aviation, space and wind industries. Together with our partner Fibretech Composites and the University of Dortmund, we have developed and patented a carbon fiber mold heater system. In 2010, the yard was honored with the International Composite JEC Award, and in 2011 it won the Seifriz Prize, the Technology Transfer Prize for German craftsmanship, for its patented Fibretemp process for manufacturing heatable plastic extrusion dies. Equipment parts – Lightweight and innovative carbon masts, furniture, equipment racks, bathing platforms, fender poles, gangways, etc. Design and construction of all types of lightweight deck equipment built to individual specification. Equipment | Details Excellence made in Germany Statements & References “[…] I am very happy with the quality of the tender and we have had no warranty issues to speak of but the warranty department is of a high standard and we felt well supported. It was a pleasure dealing with the yard during the whole build process as they were positively enthusiastic, friendly and helpful. The end result is a beautifully designed, very high quality luxury Limo which I am extremely happy with.” Julian Cox, Captain MY Sea Rhapsody “Dear Jan, Michaela and Jonas, I hope all is well and that work is not too hectic! I wanted to let you know that I visited the owner and was able to see the Limo tender nestling in her garage, I hope to see her in the water next month… She looked really first class and I wanted to thank you for all your hard work, the end result is a superb Limo echoing the mother ship perfectly! I hope we will have some very impressive pictures next month. Many thanks for all your efforts.” Tim Heywood, Tim Heywood Designs Ltd.
