Water Tower Painting The City has begun work on painting and servicing the north water tower (near 15th and Prairie). This maintenance is performed once every 10 to 20 years and will increase the life of the water tower. Service on the north water tower is expected to last through August. Once the north water tower is finished, work will begin on the south tower (near the aquatic center) in late August. Both towers are expected to be completed in October. Due to the work, variances in water pressure will occur. These variances may occur at different times and in different places in the City. In addition, the City will be relieving water pressure in response to the work by periodically flushing some fire hydrants. Please contact Adel City Hall with any questions. You did it!
