It is dedicated to developing and implementing a system of standards and solutions to improve the efficiency and visibility of supply and demand chains globally and across multiple sectors. The GS1 System of Standards is the most widely used system of supply chain standards in the world to facilitate and increase global trade. For more than 20 years GS1 has prepared the General Assembly, the largest and most important event of the organization. There, all the GS1 Member Organizations in the world are gathered to review their strategies, making decisions and celebrating the successes that have contributed to the growth of this organization. As one of the people that was close to Steve Jobs, Ken shares many of their stories from his book “Insanely Simple: The Obsession That Drives Apple’s Success”.
