Help Wanted
Your prayers are requested for
the repose of the souls of: Rex & Margaret
Vaccaro; Jan White; Alfred & Lena Citrano;
James & Catherine Crowe; Robert Hester;
Joseph Portentoso; Elizabeth C. Buckley;
Bill Wise; Margaret “Peggy” McLean; Jack
Connors; David Tarbox; Deceased members of Padula family; Al & Robbie Karsay; Charles Burress; Deceased members
of Minnucucci family; Edward Satkevich; Aaron Cordoba Martinez; Michael J.

On short notice we received word from the
Diocese that we are permitted to take up
a collection for those suffering the effects
of the serious floods in Louisiana. As next
weekend’s second collection will be the
collection for the visiting missionary, we
will share half of this week’s second collection with the flood victims, so please be
generous. The ushers will also accept donations at the doors as you leave church
if you need a bit of extra time to write a
check. Your charity and generosity are always greatly appreciated.

DEAR POPE FRANCIS: The Pope Answers
Letters rom Children Around the World.
Why are there not as many miracles anymore? What did God do before the world
was made? If God loves us so much and
didn’t want us to suffer, why didn’t he defeat
the devil? Children ask difficult questions!
This handsome new book features children’s
questions and their drawings on one side of
the page and on the other gives the Pope’s
warmhearted and sometimes surprising answers.
POPE FRANCIS: WITNESS TO JOY.
This new arrival recaps the firt year of Pope
Francis pontificate. It has awe-inspiring
footage shot in the Vatican and around the
world of this Pope who believes what this age
needs is not masters, but credible witnesses
to mercy and love.
