Alumni Notes Charles Wendy ’51 moved from Boca Raton, FL to the Washington DC area. He will be working as a DC area consultant for Joe Viverito ’51 of Viverito & Associates Brand Speed Ads & Concepts in Manhasset, NY. Theodore Krebsbach ’71 merged his law firm with Murphy & McGonigle, P.C. and will be the managing partner of Murphy & McGonigle’s combined NYC office. Ted and his wife reside in North Haven, NY. David Preble ’72 was promoted by the American Ralph C. Ascoli ’57 (fifth from right) is currently the Facilities Coordinator of the Dental Town of Babylon September 11, 2001 Hometown Memorial, situated at Cedar Association Beach on the Ocean Parkway. Babylon lost 48 loved ones on that day, including to vice Ralph’s daughter Debra. The memorial, located on the ocean side of the parkway, is a unique and magnificent tribute. It consists of an eternal light, a water feature, three president of flags and a special area called Memorial Way. In Memorial Way, there are 48 black the newly granite plaques containing the portraits of the victims and two unique symbols and created words submitted by each family. Funds were raised by the families to build and main- ADA tain this special place. Paul Borgwald ’75 was named partner in the firm of Lebensbaum, Greenberg & Borgwald, CPAs, P.C. in Levittown, NY. Steven Liguori ’75 rejoined Marsh & McLennan in May of 2011 as a Special Advisory and was promoted to Content Manager for the U.S. Property Practice. Daniel McCabe ’87 was named director of Athletics at Adelphi University. James A. Donovan ’88 is the new plant manager for Pfizer in Albany, Georgia. Mark Geraldi ’89, a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Army, is currently commanding the Task Force Trojan Horse, a 1,000-soldier combat engineer battalion responsible for IED clearance, construction and training of Afghan Army Engineers in eastern Afghanistan. Patrick Crowley ’91 was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army on October 3, 2013 and is serving in the Massachusetts Army National Guard. John Quinterno ’94 recently completed his first book, Running the Numbers: A Practical Guide to Regional Economic and Social Stu Nunnery ’67 has announced his return to music after 30+ years. His 1973 self-titled release featured the hits “Madelaine” and “Sally From Syracuse,” which made it to the top 100 on U.S. pop charts. His single, “Lady It’s Time To Go,” reached number one in Brazil. Stu later worked as a writer, lead vocalist and ensemble singer on national ad campaigns such as “I Love New York” and for such companies as Nationwide Insurance, Budweiser, General Motors and more. In 1978, he composed “I’m Walking Right Down the Middle of Main Street USA” for Walt Disney Productions, which remains a signature parade theme today. In 1978, Nunnery suffered medical setbacks that ended his music and entertainment careers. Now, along with re-mastering and releasing a special “40th Anniversary Edition” album, Nunnery will record new compositions and rework songs from earlier self-produced sessions and those with Epic Records that were never released. Dylan Siegfried ’09 will graduate from Drexel University in June, 2014. James Ballow ’00 joined Viacom in Manhattan as Director of Product Development Digital Media. Robert Madigan ’96 and Jennifer – Kennedy Summer – August 19, 2013. Justin Otto ’01 is engaged to Kerri La Grutta. They plan to be married in May, 2014. Paul Zuppello ’01 is teaching humanities at the Facing History School in New York, NY. Anthony M. Runco, Jr. ’07 completed a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering at the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, Anthony M. Runco, Jr. ’07 Ohio. He was the recipient of the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Measurement and Signal Intelligence Committee Award of Academic Excellence for authoring a master’s thesis demonstrating high quality research and outstanding work. Anthony is stationed at Los Angeles Air Force Base. Alexander Clavering ’09 graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in May, 2013. He spent this past summer interning at the White House in the office of Presidential Correspondence and recently received a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in Malaysia from January - November, 2014. He is currently (August-December) working at Synexxus, Inc., a defense contracting company.
