What does recovery
mean to you?
We acknowledge that recovery journeys will
mean different things to different people, but
we will ensure that individuals will be at the heart
of their own recovery.A Person - Centred Action
Plan will be written to support individuals set
realistic and achievable goals.
We will also support individuals to feel empowered
to live a more positive life without drugs and
alcohol taking
precedence.
The Recovery Centre/Café is for “stable” drug and
alcohol clients whether still in treatment or having
achieved recovery on your own.
This centre will also be a place where
people can socialise in a safe and friendly place
and can attend meaningful activities that will help
with their recovery journeys.
The centre will be open:
Mon - Thur 9.00am to 4.30pm
Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm
What do we offer?
The service will offer individual support that will
help with your recovery. A breakdown of the service
is as follows:

• Group support AA & NA

Service?

Tyneside area and are currently in Recovery from
drugs or alcohol, then you are welcome to access
the service.
How do I access the
service?
Referrals can be taken via treatment workers or
self. You will undergo a recovery and wellbeing
assessment with a Recovery Coordinator. This will
inform you of future goals for sustained recovery
and also identify appropriate training, clinics and
support groups to help you achieve this.
Aftercare provision
We will continue to take referrals from Treatment
workers for this element of the Service.
A Recovery Coordinator will work more intensely
with clients wanting to access community activities,
education/training and volunteering.
