downside Abbot’s Forum welcome Dear Friends, Downside Abbey offers you all, parishioners, pilgrims and visitors, a warm welcome to its programme of events. At the heart of our Benedictine mission is the search for God and the daily round of prayer. I hope there is something for everyone here and whether or not you are a Catholic you will feel truly at home in both the Abbey and its parishes. Right Rev Dom Aidan Bellenger Abbot of Downside Abbey Journey in Faith These regular Saturday morning sessions are led by Downside monks and others. They are an opportunity to deepen and share your understanding of the Faith with other Catholics. They are also suitable for those thinking about becoming Catholic or for those who have never been Confirmed and would like to complete the process of their Baptism. Whatever your reasons for attending, you will be most welcome. Everyone is encouraged to support our present Inquirers, who hope to be received into the Church at the Easter Vigil, with prayers and attendance of the services noted in the programme. For more information about Journey in Faith and Pilgrimages please contact Rina Bird on 01761 235174. The Abbot’s Forum is a programme of public lectures and conferences held at Downside.
