LITTLE CHIPPERS GOLF CLASS
Little Chippers Golf Class is a beginner’s level class that consists of basic fundamental golf
techniques and skills. The instructor will focus on basic skills such as grip, posture, stance, ball
position and aim. The four types of swings including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing will
also be other key components covered in this program. Little Chippers will engage in several fun
golf related games and activities to make for an enjoyable golf experience. Ages 7-14, age on

KIDDIE KICKERS
A soccer program for young children designed to introduce soccer in a fun exciting way. All
activities will be age and level appropriate to increase motor development, stimulate thinking,
and introduce basic soccer skills. The program will be either inside one of our gyms or outside
on a field lead by professional soccer coaches. Due to the age of the participants, some parent’s

RECREATIONAL SOCCER
Recreational soccer is for participants who are just getting started in soccer or for those players
who are not interested in playing soccer at a competitive select level. Teams are formed through a
player evaluation/draft procedure. U8 and U10 players will practice one night a week, U12-U19
players will practice two nights a week. Games are mostly held on Saturdays with a possibility of
minimal Sunday afternoon games. The season lasts through the middle of November. Age groups
with 4 teams or less may have to be inter-scheduled with other metro area leagues resulting in
some travel outside of Roswell for games. Players must fit within the age groups below in order
to participate:

JUNIOR ACADEMY
A developmental program for advanced recreational soccer players and is an introduction
to professional training and will reinforce the basic soccer concepts that promotes player
development. The training will provide a solid foundation to prepare players for the next level of
play. A licensed professional coach will run and oversee the two practices each week. Teams will
also have volunteer coaches who will assist in practices and run games. All NEW players must
attend an evaluation on 8/2 from 2 - 4:30 p.m. at Waller Park Extension Lower field.

The Soccer Winter Workouts are designed for players to maintain their soccer skills during the
winter months. Roswell Santos Trainers will be running the sessions each week. In addition to

This highly competitive program will give participants a chance to play basketball in the league at
All Tournament Players Park against top travel basketball competition around metro Atlanta.

do not make one of these rosters will automatically be transferred into the Roswell Recreation

If you love basketball, come out and jump start your season and improve your game! This
clinic will be conducted by Bert Tucker, Director of Collegiate Prep Basketball Academy (to learn
more go to www.collegiateprep.com). This clinic will be perfect for players who might be a little
rusty in preparing for the winter basketball evaluations the following week. With a focus on
fundamentals, participants will learn through drills and scrimmages how to maximize their abilities.

Dust off your basketball shoes and get ready to bring your winter teams back, or form new teams.
Games begin in November and end in February. Games will be played at East Roswell Park and
Hembree Park on Sundays and occasional weeknights. Leagues will be available for both teen
boy’s and teen girl’s teams. This program fills up fast – so register early. Registration begins on
Monday, September 28th. Players must be in high school.

SELECT BASEBALL
This baseball program is a more advanced level for more experienced players wishing to play more
games and a longer season. This is a more competitive league than recreational baseball with
most games being played at Roswell facilities and some games which may require limited and
local travel. Tryouts will be held the weekend of January 23, 2016 with practices beginning the
following weekend. The number of teams will vary based on registration/tryout numbers.
Once selected for a team, players are required to pay the remaining balance prior to participating.
If not selected, the participant will be automatically placed in the recreational league.

An exciting Roswell youth program that was established in 2015 and had a lot of success- parents
and players reveled in the rugby experience. Currently the program will meet 2 days a week for

North America’s oldest and fastest growing sport is being offered for boys and girls with home
games being played in Roswell and some local travel required for away games. ALL participants

KIDDIE KICKERS
A soccer program for young children designed to introduce soccer in a fun exciting way.
All activities will be age and level appropriate to increase motor development, stimulate thinking,
and introduce basic soccer skills. The program will be either inside one of our gyms or outside
on a field lead by professional soccer coaches. Due to the age of the participants, some parent’s

RECREATIONAL SOCCER
Recreational soccer is for participants who are just getting started in soccer or for those players
who are not interested in playing soccer at a competitive select level. Teams are formed through a
player evaluation/draft procedure. U8 and U10 players will practice one night a week, U12-U19
players will practice two nights a week. Games are mostly held on Saturdays with a possibility of
minimal Sunday afternoon games. The season lasts through the middle of November. Age groups
with 4 teams or less may have to be inter-scheduled with other metro area leagues resulting in
some travel outside of Roswell for games. Players must fit within the age groups below in order
to participate:

JUNIOR ACADEMY
A developmental program for advanced recreational soccer players and is an introduction
to professional training and will reinforce the basic soccer concepts that promotes player
development. The training will provide a solid foundation to prepare players for the next level of
play. A licensed professional coach will run and oversee the two practices each week. Teams will
also have volunteer coaches who will assist in practices and run games.

Little Chippers Golf Class is a beginners level class that consists of basic fundamental golf
techniques and skills. The instructor will focus on basic skills such as grip, posture, stance, ball
position and aim. The four types of swings including putting, chipping, pitching and full swing will
also be other key components covered in this program. Little Chippers will engage in several fun
golf related games and activities to make for an enjoyable golf experience. This is an 8 week
