Friendship Sunday

On the first Sunday of each month, we have
developed a tradition at First Unity. It’s called
“Friendship Sunday” because we encourage
congregants to especially reach out to family and
friends to invite them to Church. After Service, join us in Friendship Hall for
good fellowship and purchase a delicious brunch provided by Spice Routes
Café. Take a walk around our campus and explore all the hot spots - The
Meditation Garden, The Labyrinth, The Rose Garden, Encore Thrift Shoppe,
The Playground, The Healing Room, The Youth Department and Wings

“Animal Communicator” Movie Showing &
Discussion

First Unity is kicking off their Spiritual Activism Cinema
with the movie showing of “Animal Communicator”. This
documentary film highlights the work of Anna Breytenbach, a well-known
South African-based professional animal communicator who has received
advanced training through the Assisi International Animal Institute in
California, USA. Anna's goal is to raise awareness and advance the
relationships among human and non-human animals, on both the personal
and spiritual levels. In her communication and conservation work, she
guides people to deepen their connection with all species in an honoring
manner, and is inspired by being a voice for the animals and natural
environments. Immediately after the film, Rev. Temple and Judi
Hermann, an Animal Communicator, will start a discussion. For more

John of God Pilgrimage

famous grounds of John of God. João Teixeira de Faria, internationally
known as John of God, is arguably the most powerful unconscious medium

Too you will find hidden treasures of
gently used furniture, collectables and
other home decor. Because we have
been so successful, we are in need of
women's and men’s gently used
clothing, jewelry, handbags, wallets and shoes. Donations are received during
business hours. Encore Too needs gently used furniture such as antiques lamps,
pictures and frames, home decor items and books (hard back and paper) and
art pieces. Please make sure that all items are in good resale shape, gently used
and in good condition. We do not accept any furniture with material such as
covered couches, bed frames, and mattresses/foundations or electronic items. We
reserve the right to determine which items are appropriate for Encore Too.

Chaplains are here to support you
on your spiritual journey
First Unity Chaplains will pray with you, listen to you, and hold what they hear
in confidence. Our chaplains make monthly wellness calls to all church
members, offering to pray with them. All requests for prayer are held in the
strictest confidence. You may complete a Prayer Request and drop in the
Prayer Chest located in the Sanctuary. Chaplains also are available for
