KAES Recycles On a beautiful fall day last week the fourth graders, Dr. and Mrs. England, and many parents went to the Keene Cemetery to do research. Each student had a list of questions and they had to search the cemetery for the answers. This trip was cross-curriculum and they used reading, math, social studies, art, spelling and other skills as they completed the forms. The kid’s site will talk to you. There is a lot of information on this web site so be sure to use it. Collect and bring to KAES: Newspapers, magazines, etc. The collection bin in in the Southwest parking lot. We also recycle empty ink jet cartridges (no Epson). Nestle Pure Life water labels, Campbell’s labels, also from Tyson, Pepperidge Farms and many others. Be sure to look on the refrigerated and frozen food packages. BOX TOPS on many General Mills products, also frozen foods, Kleenex and other items. We also save aluminum and metal cans. All of these mean $$$ for our school. CTA wants your old cell phones. If no one is at the school, leave your donations by the front door and we will put them in the collection bins. Thanks for your help. LOST & FOUND If you are missing caps, jackets, coats, sweaters, jeans or other items of clothing you should check the Lost and Found Box outside the office door. If your clothing is not claimed by Christmas break it will be washed and packed for the Keene Mexico Mission Team to take with them.
