Our Bachelor of Science in Economics (BSEC) program provides you with an in-depth view of the economic, political, and cultural forces that
shape our world. As markets, consumer trends, and entire industries continue to evolve, so must our ability to forecast. At Strayer University,
you will develop critical skill sets needed to understand economic drivers and create effective policies for business, government, and society.

The program curriculum is designed with coursework addressing a broad scope of micro- and macroeconomic concepts, and will teach you to
apply them to management decisions and policy development. There is also a focus on understanding the impact of economic forces on resource
allocation within an organization. You will become adept at conducting research in the field, and learn to navigate the complex world market.
Coursework prepares students for roles as Market Research Analysts and Survey Researchers found in businesses, financial institutions,
insurance companies, policy institutes, and government agencies.

ANALYZE economic theory, its scope, and its limitations in the
formulation of policy within the business environment.
ANALYZE the mechanisms and functions of an economic system,
and determine the impact on the business environment, government,
and society.
