Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot) Gene Simmons (KISS) Little Kids Rock does a great job getting kids excited about music, picking up the slack from budget cuts to music programs in our schools. They deserve our support!” Elvis Costello “The important thing about a music education is to get off the streets.” Bonnie Raitt “Little Kids Rock brings cool water to the desert. Unfortunately, a desert is what arts education in the schools has become.” Tom Waits Big Kenny (Big & Rich) Carlos Santana “Every child has the right to bear musical instruments!” ”Being a musician is something that is good for the soul and good for the character because it teaches you a lot about discipline. I think it’s a really great creative outlet.” Slash Big Kenny Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Bootsy Collins (Parliament Funkadelic) Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) “I’d like to see Little Kids Rock in a lot more schools. Young kids playing instruments, composing their own music and recording their own songs? That is something I just have to get behind.” B.B. King “In times like these, when arts are being forced out of our schools, encouraging self-confidence in kids through music is absolutely essential.” Nick Jonas (Jonas Bros.) Brad Delson (Linkin Park)
