Goedicke’s sermon series, “Christ Revealed.” Icons come from the Easter Orthodox Christian tradition and are a kind of religious art that use certain symbols, styles, and colors to depict visually what the Gospels proclaim in words. Icons often contain gold leaf as a representation of the Divine. This Sunday’s icon by an unknown artist, shows Mary Magdalene’s encounter with the risen Christ by the empty garden tomb. New sermon series begins next Sunday What are the signs that Christ is truly alive? The early church had to face that question, and so do we, because many people around us are not convinced. And the most important sign is … us. 1. LARGE PRINT BULLETINS ARE AVAILABLE. Please see an usher. 2. Hearing Assistance Devices are available. Please see an usher.
