Danny Juarez for City of Hawthorne Mayor 2011
Many Thanks To Everyone for attending our fundraiser - Thank you so much for a successful event...and a special evening.
Letter From Danny
Dear Neighbor,
Thank you for caring about the future of Hawthorne and considering my candidacy as the next mayor of our beloved city.
I, Daniel "Danny" Juarez, am running for mayor because I, like so many other long-time residents, regard public safety, education and city services as the
quality of life cornerstones for families and businesses. I believe I am the best qualified candidate to provide these needs. I will put people before politics.
In order for residents to live in safe neighborhoods, and an environment striving to be crime-free, I will work with the community at-large, and our local
law enforcement agencies, on a strategic plan to address crime and public safety matters. My vision for public safety has been reviewed by members of law
enforcement and feel it is a workable and achievable plan. Accordingly, I am asking you to also believe in my candidacy as the right choice for mayor and
vote for me on Election Day.
I am the only candidate running for mayor with over two decades of experience as an elected official in municipal government and education. I bring over
three decades of community volunteer service with various non-profit groups including, but not limited to, AYSO, YMCA, Hawthorne Parks and
Recreation Foundation, Boy Scouts, and many others. I will work with parents, teachers and administrators at our local schools to foster better resources
for our students. I have an MBA degree with an extensive background in handling financial challenges. Therefore, I am the right person, for the right
reason, at the right time, for mayor.
Fighting crime, maintaining City services, open space, and bringing high-end businesses/jobs to Hawthorne are my top priorities. I am proud to be
supported by the many elected and formerly elected officials and community leaders.
I respectfully ask for your vote on November 8, 2011 for a better tomorrow in the City of Hawthorne. Please feel free to contact me if there are any
questions you have about my candidacy or vision for our city. I can be contacted at 310-643-6139 or by e-mail at councilman-juarez@hotmail.com.
Once again, thank you in advance for your consideration and continued support.
Yours in public service,
Daniel "Danny" Juarez
