Grade 3 Home , The month of august has been a very special month for the PYP. The children have gained a broad exposure to many different areas of science including a initial understanding of various other concepts. We have started up with 5 notebooks for English so that the children are thorough in all the concepts. These 5 books include story book, essay writing, handwriting, letter writing and grammar..we have started implementing various reading programs for the kids so that each and every child becomes a perfect reader.... You can encourage your child to work on his/her handwriting by making his/her practice in a fun way. Offer your child a special pencil or a rainbow of coloured ones. Don’t just give him/her a word to copy. Try simple word puzzles, anagrams and a game of hangman or ask her/him to brainstorm lists around a theme to give writing practice purposeful. Make time every day to talk with your child about the day’s activities. Encourage them to think and reflect on their own learning. Help them to do research by themselves to create an inquiring mind.
